Ala Kazam
Desire Hemera

...

"Hello?"

"Hey, Sincere. It's Desire."

"Oh wassup, beautiful?"

"Nothing.
Wanted to see if I could
still take you up on your offer today."

"Of course.
We can meet up at the book store,
that ok with you?"

"Yea that's fine."

"Cool. See you in an hour?"

"Sounds good. See you soon."

...

After some very long thinking and much discussion, the group decided to stay in Kazam. We love De and as much as we'd like to get the hell up out of this place, we made a pact when we first got here that we would do anything to get him back. So if that meant spending months or years in this crazy world, we were all for it.

We also had to remind ourselves of how the time difference worked. Time moved much faster here so even if we spend 3 months in Kazam, it wouldn't be all that bad. We've been here for 2 weeks and only 10 hours have gone by back in the real world since we left New Orleans. Crazy right? Aunt Abby wasn't over exaggerating when she first mentioned this to us.

I decided to hang out with Sincere today because I was tired of listening to Aunt Abby and Giselle talk about 'grown folks business'. The guys were just being guys and Mary was cooped up with K-Ci all damn day. And like I said, if we're going to be here for a while, might as well make friends.

"Hey!" I waved at Sincere who was standing outside of the book store.

"Wassup, Des!?" He exclaimed happily and gave me a side hug. "I'm glad you called. So what you in the mood for? We can go get somethin' to eat if you hungry or we can just cool out somewhere and talk for a bit." He suggested.

"Hmm... I don't know." I shrugged. "Surprise me." I gave him a wide grin.

He chuckled and slowly nodded his head, "aight bet."

With the snap of his fingers, we were now in a field with beautiful white lily flowers everywhere

With the snap of his fingers, we were now in a field with beautiful white lily flowers everywhere. There was a picnic blanket set up with a basket filled with food and beverages.

"So I'm guessing your power is teleporting." I smiled at him.

He laughed as he plopped down on the blanket, "you got it."
