- Winter's POV -
The human in which I came across did not seem to be evil or bad. She seemed to be fragile and broken.
She was very pretty, she had brown hair which was as long as her shoulders and she had lots of freckles over her cheeks.
"Do you know where my sister is?" I asked her with the slightest bit of hope that she did.
"Sort of? It's all over the news you know. 'Mermaids are real!'" She shouted while trying to act as someone else. But what's the news?
"Can you get her for me?" I said quickly with a wide smile, she frowned.
"Not really. She's locked up in a science government lab somewhere" Heidi said sadly. I was extremely confused.
"If it was your sister who got stolen into another world, I would help you!" I shouted suddenly feeling upset and shaken. She got up from the rock in which she was sitting.
- Heidi's POV -
"But you don't understand, it's really complicated on land" I explained, but she wasn't having any of it.
"Fine! Don't help me!" Winter shouted as she began to cry, she dived back under the water without saying another word.
"Wait!" I shouted while stepping forward to get her back, but I accidentally slipped on the wet rock and that's all I remember.
- Winter's POV -
I dived back under the water because I felt really upset. Why doesn't she want to help me?
Maybe humans are evil.
Until suddenly I heard a huge splash above me, it was Heidi. She seemed to be unconscious and there was blood coming from somewhere.
I swam up quickly and grabbed her around the waist, while pulling her up to the sandy beach..
