- Heidi's POV -

After Winter had disappeared back into the deep blue ocean, I decided to just relax on the beach for a while. I lay down on the warm sand and closed my eyes.

"Heidi?" A deep voice said making me jump up from where I was lying.

"Dad!" I shouted in fear. I got up quickly and looked around. He stared at me angrily.

"Why aren't you at school?"

"Well mum didn't give me any-"

"You know what? I don't even care. I'm going to hunt mermaids enjoy your day" He said rudely interrupting me. He walked off without even looking back, did he even notice how pretty my hair looked?

I walked back home slowly thinking about Winter, I can't believe I met a real life mermaid. This seems surreal.

As soon as I got home I ran up to my small bedroom and grabbed my laptop, I had to research about mermaids..

Hours had passed and I was still sitting in the same spot. I had drawn millions of pictures of mermaids which I found on the Internet. It was quite fun but mum and dad didn't even know that I was home.

I looked up from the laptop screen for one minute and caught the reflection of myself in the mirror, my hair was extremely pretty. I got up and walked over to the mirror to get a better look.

There were shells going through the platt and after hours it was still sitting perfectly. I smiled.

- Winter's POV -

I swam towards the cave slowly, feeling overly nervous as I got closer. There was a new door as I had broke the last one, but I was afraid to go inside.

"You're my only good daughter Autumn, I feel like I should only look after you from now on" I heard father say through the rock door, I felt slightly hurt. But all of this is my fault anyway.

"But daddy I'm worried, what if Winter is gone to?" Autumn replied to him.

"If she is then she deserves it, she caused all of this in the first place" He said. A tear appeared in my eye as I swam off into the sea. No body wants me.
