" Lucy! Get up or you're going to be late for school!" My dad shouts at me. I groan and I slip out of bed. Today was the first day back. We just got finished the spring brake.
" You better be up!" He banged on my door. I stormed over to the door and opened it quickly. " Hurry up. You have to walk." He walked away and I scoffed. I shut my door and walked to my closet.
I got out ripped skinny jeans with a black tang top with a blue flannel. I walked to the barroom and quickly took a shower. The nice, hot water waking me up. I slowly got out of the shower.
I changed and walked back into my room to do my hair and makeup. I didn't really have enough time so I just added a little powder and mascara. I brushed my hair and pulled it up into a messy bun.
I grabbed my phone off the nightstand beside my bed. I rushed down stairs hoping I can get some food. What I didn't expect was my family sitting at the kitchen table. I sighed knowing I won't be having any food.
" You ready?" Dylan, my older brother asked. I nodded my head and walked to the door. I grabbed my bag and slipped on my black converses. I hoped in the car and buckled up.
" Here." Dylan held out his hand. I looked up at him. " I snook it. I said it was for my lunch. " He gave me the banana and apple. I gave him a small smile. " Thank you." I pulled him into a hug. He started the car, and we drove off.
" Thanks for the ride." I say as I hope out. I'm the only one that goes to school. My brothers stay at home and help around. It's called co-ep.
I walked to my locked and but my backpack inside. I grabbed my math book because that was my first class. The first bell rang and I slowly walked to the class. I took a the seat at the very back, closest to the windows.
As everyone started to come in, I kept my focus on the park across from the school. All the memories came flooding back and it was so hard to keep back my tears. I closed my eyes and took deep breaths.
I slowly opened my eyes and the tears were gone. Man I have to get over it.
The class soon ended and I walked to my locker. On my way to my second class I was pushed up against the wall. " Where do you think your going?" Asked Jeff. The caption of the football team.
" My class. Now move." I yelled. I may be small, but when people get me angry, I can be pretty feisty. The group just laughed. " Yeah, like that's going to happen." He scoffed.
" Can't you just leave me alone? " I begged trying to escape. " Nope." He pulled my by the hair and shoved me into a closet and locked the door.
" Hey! Let me out! " I screamed banging on the door. " Someone let me out!" I kept banging and banging, but it was no use.
I slid down the wall and ran my hands through my hair. I sighed. My parents are going to kill me for skipping. And knowing them, they won't hear my side of the story and it's going to be bad.
After the last bell rang, the group let me out. I ran to my locker and quickly grabbed my stuff. I ran out the door and ran home. It was a 10 minute run.
I walked through my door to see boxes all over the place and my parents standing in front of the stair case.
