Chapter 17

After a few moments of silence, Ross asked " Will you go out on a date with me tonight?" I frowned. " You don't have to. It's just that-"

I cut him off. " It's not that I wouldn't want to, but I'm not aloud too," I slipped out of Ross' arms and stood up. He scurried to his feet as I start to walk to the shore line.

" Wanna go swimming?" He asked. I nodded. " Um. I'm not wearing my swimsuit, is there anywhere I can change?" I asked. He pointed over to the public washrooms that was on the other side of the beach.

" I'll be back in a few." I took off to the washrooms. I quickly slid on my bikini. As I was making my way back to Ross, someone picked me up from behind. I screamed as I was put over a shoulder.

I was gently put back on the ground as I came face to face with Kian. I slapped his shoulder. " You gave me a heart attack!" I growled. " Sorry." He laughed. " What are you doing here?" I asked.

He rolled his eyes " I'm watching pigs fly. What do you think I'm doing here?" He joked.
I just laughed.

I looked over Ross' way to see him glaring at Kian. " I think I better go." I say as I give him a hug. "See you tomorrow." He waved and jogged over to his group.

I walked over to Ross and sat my bag and towel down. " Let's go." He smirks at me as I turn around. I started to fell insecure. " what?" I whispered. In on swift moment I was over his shoulder and he was running into the water.

" Ross put me down!" I laugh. " Hold your breath!" He warned. I quickly shut my mouth as he through me into the water. I started laughing under the water. I was losing my breath so I came up.

" You idiot." I pushed his shoulder hard Nd made him lose balance. I jumped onto him as we both went under. I opened my eyes as did he. He gave me a goofy face, I coved my mouth with my hand to prevent from laughing.

As we both came up, a huge wave crashed over us. We both went under as I swallowed a ton of water. I came up and started coughing. " Are you okay?" He started to rub my back.

I nodded, but kept coughing. " Just take deep breaths." I started to take deep breaths, and the coughing went away.

" Thank you." My voice was raspy. He smiled. " anytime."

After a hour went by, I was laying on my stomach trying to dry off. Ross was laying down beside me, his phone in he middle of us playing ' Shut up and dance' By Walk The Moon.

I had my sunglasses on, my head leaning on my arms looking at Ross. He was doing the same thing. We were just talking about how his band was doing.

" I always knew you guys had talent." He smiled at my comment. " Remember those shows you use to put on in your basement?" I laugh. He playfully rolled his eyes. " Yes."

" Remember when we shoved you face into your cake on your birthday?" He laughed.
" How could I forget?"

I miss these kinda moments. Hanging with one of my best friends, talking about our childhood memories. I really wish we weren't apart for that long period of time.

I started to get myself upset, this might actually be the last time I hang out with him, and I just got him back. I just want this all to end. I just want my parents to leave me alone and let me do what ever I want.

I'm sick of living I the shadows. I'm never aloud to do Anything. I'm so sick of it.

" Yes." I take off my glasses and look at Ross, who is clearly confused. " Yes what?" His face right now was funny and cute.

" Yes I'll go on a date with you." I smile. His face turned from confused to excited in one second. " Really!" He sat up. " yeah." I sat up too. " Thank you!" He pulled me into a hug.

Ross pov;
After she agreed to go on the date with me, I took her back to my house to get ready. Rydel pushed her into the shower and helped me get dressed. We decided on dinner and bowling.

" You ready?" Rydel asked as she ran down the stairs. I nodded. " Come on Lucy!" She called.

Lucy walked down in blue skinny jeans, blue top and black converses. Her hair was curled and a braid went all the way around her head. She looked; beautiful.

" Ready?" I asked her. I held out my hand and she gladly excepted it. " Totally." She smiled. I heard Rydel squeal so I looked back at her. She took a few photos and we were Finally aloud to leave.

Let's hope this goes well.
