Chapter 6

Today is Monday! Which means I start my job today! I start at 8:30 and end at 3. But I have a lunch brake.

" Lucy hurry up our you're going to be late!" Dylan warned. I just finished slipping on my clothes. I left my hair straight today since I didn't have time. " I'm coming!" I grab my phone off the nightstand and rush out the door.

I grab my penny board and and head out the door. I arrive just in time. I walk to my locker and put my stuff into it. " Lucy!" My boss called out. I shut the locker door as he and some guy coming walking over.

" This is Kian lawley . He's going to be your supervisor and help you out." I smiled at them. Rob, my boss walked away, leavening me and Kian there. " So, you want to get started?" He smirked.

I rolled my eyes. " Let's go." We walked to the front. We still had half an hour until doors open so he's going to show me the basics. It was surprisingly easy.

We have been open for half an hour already and we've had over twenty costumers.
A group of girls walked in and they all gave me a stare. " Can I get a number 5? " I nodded my head.

" Kian, can u help me?" I asked. I was having a difficult time with the Machine. He walked over and put his hands on mine. " Sure thing." I tired to pull my hands away, but he wouldn't let me.

I grabbed the cup of shaved ice and placed it in front of her. " thanks she growled. I just returned it with a smile. She scoffed and walked away.

" That's Chloe. She's the head cheerleader." Kian informed me. " That explains it. And let me guess." I pointed to the group. " Those Are there Minions?" He laughed. " Of corse they are."

I look at the clock. " Hey kian, it's time for my lunch break. You want to come?" I asked as I took of my things. " Sure. Just let me get Rob to fill in for me." I waited as he ran off.

" Okay, let's go." We walked out of the shop and down the street. " So where to?" He asked. I though about if for a moment. " In and out!" I grabbed onto his hand as I pulled him.

" Slow down." He laughed as he pulled me into a booth. " What do you want, I'll go order." I smiled at how sweet he is. " Umm, I'll take fries and chicken strips." I say as I took out my wallet.

He stopped me. " This will be my treat." I shook my head. " That's expensive." I say. But before I could give him the money, he took off to order. I chuckled to my self.

" Im so stuffed!" I grab my stomach as we walk back to work. " Me too. I shouldn't have eaten that other burger." He groans.

I put back on my gloves and walk back to the Front. I felt my phone beep, I turned around and Leaned against the counter. I heard the bell ring, indicating that someone has come in.

I turn around and I couldn't Believe my eyes.
