CHAPTER 24

After that nightmare I couldn't go back to sleep so I turned on all the lights so that nothing could not creep up on me. I got up and took a cold shower to help with the sweating. When I was done it was 12:30 and so I decided to finally show face and go and get something to eat.

When I got down there no one was in the kitchen so I made myself a yogurt parfait because anything more solid I felt I would through back up. I then felt this Aura behind me and it didn't settle well in my stomach. I heard him before I saw him. " well hi there pumpkin".

As I turned around my heart dropped it was him the man I had grown to despise. "What the fuck are you doing here?" He ignored my question and chuckled as he walked closer to me. To make more space between us I rounded the isle and positioned myself so that it was between us.

"Awww is lils scared of me I thought you'd missed me" I scoffed and glared at him, miss him why the fuck would he think that, "I mean we haven't seen each other in 5 years"

"Not long enough I guess you're still fucking delusional" although I didn't miss him I couldn't help wonder where'd he disappear to, but I would never let him know that.

"You carry the scent of the alpha king so I guess you finally opened your legs to someone, Shame it couldn't have been me would have loved to fuck that tight Virgin hole of yours"

My face upturned with disgust with the lewd things he uttered "how dare you you disgust me, Tammy should have hit you harder that day cause your brain is all the way fucked up" he opened his mouth to say something else when in walked Eve, Reese and Tammy. And like clockwork Tammy's face turned sour.

"Why are you still fucking here asswipe" his eyes didn't leave me and I felt uncomfortable when his lips turned into a smirk "Reese why is he still here didn't he come to talk Ethan?" Tammy said to Reese.

"Alpha Waters The Alpha King will be back in a matter of seconds" my face perked with hearing that Ethan will be back early " he has requested you wait for him in his studies so follow me there" after a very intense uncomfortable stare down with me he turned to follow Reese but not without a smile to Tammy who In turn growled at him.

Once he was out the room Tammy turned to me and hesitated but ran and gave me a hug I accepted even though we were not fully greeing at the moment. "Am I missing something here ?" I forgot that she was there but I turned my attention at the ground thinking about 'what she missed'. I sat with them and relived the moment with the girls and at the end of my story eve's face was hard and a tear fell down Tammy's face. I couldn't shed another tear I had shed enough over him.

We heard the door slam shut and in stormed Ethan along with five other men into the kitchen furious as can be . When he walked in his face soften when he saw me but then went hard again probably remembering how we left things  "where's the fucktard Eve" .

"In your office" and like that he turned on his heels and headed to his office with the men trailing along behind him. If I wasnt so curious I would have admired how mysteriously sexy he had looked in his navy blue suit. Tammy and I sneakily went behind him to find out why all the commotion.

We got to his office where the door was slightly ajar I turned behind me to see that Eve had joined us. As we listened I grew more confused.

"What the FUCK DO YOU MEAN WHOOPS, THIS WAS A MATTER THAT YOU GOT NO PERMISSION FOR" I heard Ethan yell Not knowing toward who.

"I'm sorry alpha king they needed to be killed they purposely came into our territory kidnap one of our top doctors and our supplies" I know that voice as Christian.

"They took your doctor because in their village their people were growing sick from silver poisoning and instead of investigating you decide WITHOUT ANY SAY SO FROM SOMEONE HIGHER TO KILL OUT HALF OF THEIR F**KING CLAN ? am I saying everything correctly so that you understand THAT YOUR A F**KING IMBECILE!!! Let me tell you what your going to do your going to march you best medical team down there...."

"Alpha....?"

"I WILL NOT BE INTERRUPTED, Your going to march your best medical team down there and help to the best of all you staff and your's ability and I Do. Not. Want to hear of this until they are all healed do I make myself clear?"

"Alpha...?"

"DO I MAKE MYSELF CLEAR" I heard all the men in the room along with Tammy and Eve whimper and coward back a little"

"Yes alpha"

"Your dismissed"

We heard movement and four men walked out of the room with Christian in the middle with a very angry face and then I heard the downstairs down close then I saw another five men leave the room and left Ethan's office door ajar. The girls left and I decided to carry my curiosity further.

I walked over to his office door peeking in and before I could get a glance in I hear " come in" I hesitantly push his door open further and a small smile came onto my face when I saw how disheveled his hair was. "Lily I have a lot of paper work to do if I have to deal with your bipolar attitude now I'm going to lose it, what can I help you with?"

I stayed silent since I really did not know why I came in here for I just wanted to see him it was a need of mine. I just shook my head and continued to just look around his office. He looked back down and continued to look at the work in front of him. I came upon a bookshelf with some classic books and I saw ' The Lord of Flies' and decided I'll just read it.

As I was sitting down quietly in the chair in front of his desk I looked up and saw that he looked very stress and there was this urge to do something about it. I guess I was staring for too long when he sighed and looked up at me kind of annoyed " if you keep staring I'll never be able to finish my work" the next set of words that came out off my mouth shocked the both of us.

"Do you want to take a bath.... to-get-ther?"
