It has been two weeks since the defeat of the Dark Lord, but already there is a new threat to Miitopia: The Shadow Queen Kojima, who seeks to awaken The Eternal, about which Janice is not told anything. On top of that, Kojima strikes Janice's heart...

"What are we supposed to do now?" Cameron asked after a moment of silence.
"I'll see if I can heal her," Apollo volunteered. "Giga Cure!"
Golden light caressed Janice, with no reaction from the latter, and Akira carefully picked her up. "C'mon. We gotta get her to safety, and Ethan..." He turned to the mage, "we'll need the rest of your friends."
"Right." Ethan waved his wand, summoning a ghostly-looking butterfly, and it flew off. "That'll send a signal to our buddies at the villa. For now, let's just wait."
Meanwhile, at the villa, a pink-clad chef chomped (rather noisily) on a piece of Goblin Ham, while a blue-clad imp flopped down on the bed dramatically.
Energetic Chef: Cadence
Airheaded Imp: Scarlette
"Ugh, I'm so booooooored!" she complained, much to the annoyance of the chef and two others, a Princess in dark blue and a vampire in black.
"Will you please stop complaining, Scarlette?" the princess sighed. "We've only been in here for two weeks, and you're just now saying that?"
Laid-back Princess: Antonia
"Yeath, you're spoiling the good mood!" said the chef with her mouth full of ham. "If you wanna do thomthing, go outhside!"
"Hey, it's not my fault I have a short attention span." Scarlette fiddled with her pointed tail, which was jerking around wildly. "Look, even my tail's restless."
"Vell, I see no reason to vhine about it, sister," the vampire said in a Transylvanian accent.

Cool Vampire: Lazarus
"If you vish to be occupied, vhy not contact the others at the inn? Surely they have something to do vith you."
"Don't give me hope, Lazarus!" Scarlette's face was sad now. "Nobody's even calling! Not even my cutie-pie Ricky..." she sighed.
"He's probably busy," Antonia said, waving her fan to cool off. "Whew, is it hot in here or what? I'm opening a window." She got up and walked toward a window as she said that and opened the closest one, letting a breeze fly into the room. "Ah, that's better."
"Say, Lazzie, how do you even survive in daylight anyway? I didn't think vampires could do that," Cadence asked, thankfully swallowing before speaking.
"Vell, Cadence, the Tribe of Darkness created both I and Scarlette to vithstand many of the vorld's elements, light being one of them," Lazarus replied. "Vhile ve cannot do some things, such as change the veather patterns or stop time, ve are powerful fighters. Correct, sister?"
