Hey, guys! I'm back! It's been a few weeks, but I'm back now. Updates have been slow since we're getting ready to move into our new house, but I'll try to get this out as soon as I can. (You guys can play the Sacred Moon song up until I attach the next video, for reference. What? I think the music fits.)

After getting Teresa back on her feet, the three heroes scouted the broken area, defeating every monster that dared cross their path. Akira took note of those creatures...they looked like the ones that the Dark Lord created, but had a color scheme similar to the distortion, and they were much more...uh, deranged than the ones he was familiar with. Let's just put it that way. So weird, he thought as he blasted a twisted Goblin to smithereens.
"I see it! I see Flora!" Teresa said, pointing ahead. There stood (well, more like floated) the Earth Elite, who motioned for them to follow her into a large shrine overgrown with various plants.
"In the heart of this shrine," she told them, "is a monster that you must overcome. The New Elite is waiting deep inside, hidden until you set them free."
She spoke the truth, as a giant green and brown creature with the body of a rosebush and the head of a Venus Flytrap made itself seen. What was interesting about this monster was that it had a shimmering silver core, almost like it had inhaled a crystal ball or something. Faint green light was flickering inside it, and Akira could swear he heard Queen Charlotte's voice calling out, "Help!"
"It's here!" Flora clenched her fists, her spirit glimmering with the same faint green light. "That core is the weak point... attacking anything else will do nothing! Destroy the core, and my descendant will be freed!"
BEGIN BATTLE!

Akira attacks using Mega Lightning. "Mega Lightning!" Thorns's core loses 600 HP.
Teresa attacks using Cat's Paw. "Meow!" Thorns's core loses 800 HP.
Antonia attacks using Double Royal Wave. "Prepare yourself!" Thorns's core loses 2,000 HP.
Flora makes a wish. "Please..." All party members smell her flowers and get increased attack and defense.
Thorns wraps up Teresa in vines. "Hey!" Teresa can't attack for this turn.
Akira attacks using Mega Fire. "Mega Fire!" Thorns's core loses 550 HP.
Teresa is trapped in vines and can't attack. "So not fair..."
Antonia attacks using Double Royal Wave. "Prepare yourself!" Thorns's core loses 900 HP.
Flora controls the plants, just as she did in life. "Heed my words!" Teresa is freed as the vines wither away. "Thanks a lot!"
Thorns brings up thistles to attack. All party members lose 100 HP.
Akira attacks using Giga Lightning. "Giga Lightning!" Thorns's core loses 250 HP.
Teresa stops to groom herself. "Purrrr..." Teresa gains 100 HP.
Antonia attacks using Royal Wave. "Shall we?" Thorns's core loses 100 HP. Thorns is defeated. "That's for taking my sister!"
Flora uses magic to free Charlotte's soul. "Control the earth, just as I did."
Team Akira wins!
END BATTLE!
Charlotte appeared in a flash of green light, and Flora turned to the team. The queen's body was pulsing with magical energy, but she showed no signs of regaining consciousness. "It will take time for her to awaken," the Earth Elite said. "But do not fear for her. She will live to see another day." She smiled, catching sight of Antonia's worried expression, and the younger princess nodded in assurance. "As for you three, please meet up with your allies at the center of this ruined world. When I deem her ready to assist you, I shall come." Flora connected with Charlotte's motionless body, surrounding her with a green aura as the trio set off to their next destination.
Okay, I'm in my new house now, and it's the best! Now I can FINALLY get some actual sleep. But in other news, I decided a full blown game based off of that Sonic 06 rewrite I mentioned (while it would be fun) would be way too much work for someone like me, so I'm just gonna do a series of videos. Videos that nobody but me will probably be able to watch because I don't have a YouTube account. (Why am I even mentioning this?) Anyway, I also thought the Deep Drive music fit as a battle theme for the new distorted version of Miitopia, so I put the video there.
