So, this is (in my opinion) one of the more exciting parts of the story, and you'll see why.
Miitopia belongs to Nintendo, enjoy. No comments, please and thank you!As Ethan conversed with Horace and Charlotte via his magic wand (the duo wanted to tell them that they were both going to join the team if something went wrong, and told Ethan to point his wand at the heavens if that was the case), Janice wandered off on her own. The cloud of dark magic on her heart was bigger now, and pulsed with a sort of steady beat that gave her chill bumps.
It was the guardian's amulet glowing that made her halt.
When the golden light faded, Janice found herself in that place again, the one in which she first met the guardian. Before she could ask what was going on, she saw something rather strange...
A male Mii that appeared to be made of light stood before her, floating a few inches off the ground. His robes were a light blue and his hair was blonde, and he had a golden aura around him. His face looked kind, and when he spoke, it sounded oddly familiar.
"I am glad you have found me, Janice," he said with a smile. "I have been waiting."
"Who are you?" Janice asked him, hesitating.
"Why, child, do you not remember me?" The person chuckled. "Perhaps this will jog your memory, dear. Ho ho!"
Her eyes widened. "Guardian...?"
"Yes, it is I! I am...the guardian spirit of Miitopia!"
"Is...is this what you really look like?"
"Indeed! I have finally revealed my true form, which is something I have longed to do since I was imprisoned."
"Imprisoned?"
"Yes. Years ago, I had a human-looking form, and I possessed great power. Power that no ordinary Mii could wield...and with that power, I created Miitopia, or Old Miitopia as it is known now. But one day, The Eternal appeared. She was a malevolent entity that sought to destroy the world, and I engaged her in battle. I was victorious, but my power was greatly depleted. The Eternal took that moment to seal me away in a small amulet, the one you bear, and the one the worried mother Haruka bore before you. She found it one day, but she had no idea what it held. And as for The Eternal, well...she is at risk of being released..." The guardian looked at Janice for a fleeting moment before dropping his gaze. "You are Miitopia's only hope."
"..." Janice wanted to ask what her place in all this was, but remained silent. The way he looked at her was strange, and only raised more questions, yet...she couldn't find the words.
He seemed to notice this. "Why do you hesitate?"
"I'm...just nervous. What if we can't stop the Shadow Queen? What if..." It's all for nothing?
"Don't worry, my child. You defeated the Dark and Darker Lords with ease...I do not doubt for a moment that you will fail this."
And with that, Janice was sent back to the real world, back to the place that got her no closer to finding the answers she needed.
So, I'm sorry for how long this chapter took, but I've been caught up in my Sonic OC designs and didn't have much time to update. And as for my other series, which I've dubbed "Her Worth" (that's the one with my Mario OC Mona), I don't know where that's going to lead me. I've been looking over my old drafts for her other stories, and there's a lot of conflicting elements that I have in there. I don't know if I'm ever going to continue that series, but I can't say for sure. Anyway, enough of my rambling, ignore me please... thanks.
Peace out! No comments!
