It's been a long time coming, but 2020 is FINALLY over! We've had some ups and downs, but at least we made it in the long run~! So here we are with another chapter, and I hope you all stay safe out there! Miitopia belongs to Nintendo, enjoy! No comments!
Trinity, Ricky, Ethan, and Cadence--Team C--made their way through the remains of Elven Forest, defeating monsters as best they could. "I still don't understand," Ethan sighed. "If the guardian spirit knew this would happen, why didn't he just take care of The Eternal himself?"
"Sometimes, even guardian spirits lack the power to do so," Trinity replied. "But even in this state, I believe in my heart that we shall defeat her and save Janice from whatever torment she is going through."
Ricky kept his concerns to himself. Would she go that far...?
"Either way," Cadence interrupted, "I see Lumino now! Over by that tree! ...At least, I THINK that's a tree. Oh, yep, definitely a tree!"
The Light Elite's spirit waited by the entrance to the shrine, where a glowing yellow light shone. "Let us be off," she simply said, and they followed her in--which, surprisingly, was not a tight fit, given that the hole in the tree was so small.
Inside the shrine, it was less like they were walking in a SHRINE as much as a giant lightbulb. Lumino had dimmed it so it wouldn't hurt their eyes, but it was still pretty bright. In the center appeared to be a large crystal ball, with three souls inside it: one purple, one orange, and one yellow, all pushing against each other.
"The Fab Fairies!" Cadence declared. "Don't worry, we'll help! Wait, can they even hear us? CAN YOU HEAR US?! Nope, I got nothing."
BEGIN BATTLE!
Enemy Target: Fortuna
Enemy Health Points: 6,000
Party Health Points: 5,000 (Total), 1,500 (Trinity), 800 (Ricky), 2,000 (Ethan), 700 (Cadence)
Trinity attacks with Dancing Arrow. "Take that!" Fortuna loses 300 HP and starts dancing.
Ricky attacks with Hurricane. "This'll be a BREEZE!" Fortuna loses 900 HP.
Ethan attacks with Mega Explosion. "BOOM!" Fortuna loses 1,500 HP.
Cadence attacks with Flambé. "HYAA!" Fortuna loses 700 HP.
Lumino creates a bright flash. "Lighten up!" Fortuna loses 800 HP.
Fortuna is too busy dancing to attack.
Trinity attacks with Dancing Arrow. "Keep at it!" Fortuna loses 500 HP and keeps dancing.
Ricky attacks with Bluster. "Bluster away!" Fortuna loses 400 HP.
Ethan attacks with Mega Lightning. "Lightning strike!" Fortuna loses 600 HP.
Cadence attacks with a slap of her frying pan. "Eat THIS!" Fortuna loses 300 HP. Fortuna is defeated. "Boo-yah!"
Team Cadence wins!
END BATTLE!
Lumino watched intently as the Fab Fairies were released, then gently enveloped them in her light. "Go now, and await the upcoming trial," she said to the team, and her expression turned somber as she watched them leave.
"...And brace yourselves, for when all is said and done, a great sacrifice will have been brought for the greater good..."
Hmmm... I wonder what Lumino could possibly be hinting at? (You guys will probably hate me when I actually do that, but I call it my Miitopia AU "Trilogy" for a reason.) Peace out and no comments! HAPPY 2021!
