I LIIIIIIIVE!
...That's all I have to say.
Miitopia belongs to Nintendo, enjoy! No comments!
Given what The Eternal said to her other half before, one might expect Janice to be experiencing great torment and pain. One might expect Janice to be trapped in an endless cycle of torture, screaming to be set free.
They would be wrong.
Much to the warrior's surprise, The Eternal literally sat down to have a cup of tea with her, but she wasn't fooling her. This had to be a trick to lower her guard... so she kept a straight face.
"Why are you so disappointed?" The Eternal asked, plopping two sugar cubes into her teacup and stirring them in with a small spoon. "You've hardly touched your tea. Did I not add enough sugar?"
Janice spoke up after a long period of silence. "This is just a hoax. What's your real plan? What do you intend on doing with Miitopia?"
The Eternal paused, then set her teacup down with a sigh. "If it bothers you that much, I suppose I can tell you." She snapped her fingers, making the table and tea setup disappear, before standing with a kind of posture that indicated Janice was not going to like what she was about to say.
"I was not always like this," she began, refusing to make eye contact. "I used to be rather... different. My eyes were not so... blank and hideous." The Eternal scowled. "Let me ask you something. What do you believe is my origin? What do you... remember?"
Janice was silent. She wracked her brain for a small glimpse, for a fragment, a SHARD of memory that was even remotely related to what she used to be. But she found only emptiness. "I don't remember a thing," she finally said. "Although, I wish I could forget you even exist. I want to forget that... you and I are the same."
Both warriors stood in silence, and The Eternal spoke again with malice in order to hide how much that pained her. "I see." There was another pause. "...Well, allow me to enlighten you. I won't give you the full details now, but I will tell you this..." She scowled again. "That guardian you travel with... he has the main role in my story."
Janice looked at her with a raised eyebrow. "What do you mean? What's he have to do with all this?"
There was a sudden rage in The Eternal's blank white eyes. "That is none of your concern!" She flew back a little and waved her arms, opening a vortex that allowed them to see what the fourth team in Karkaton was doing. "Sit back... your little friends have a surprise in store!"
Short chapter, I know, but it's almost my bedtime and I have school tomorrow. What could The Eternal be hiding, I wonder?
Anyhoo, I want to apologize for taking so long to update, I have MAJOR writer's block at the moment and I'm also caught up in other projects. I won't give away the details, but I do have a Sonic Forces rewrite that I'm dying to show you guys! Stay tuned.
Peace out! No comments!
