MY EYES (MY EYES) ARE FILLED WITH CURIOUSITY... YOU THINK—uhh, you heard nothing. I was totally not in a jam session...heh. But can you blame me? I like that song. Anyway, cue the new chapter!

Akira was nervous. He didn't know when his next chance to tell Janice how he felt would be, but he feared rejection...he could still remember the day he lost everything. After his sister was "killed" by his tormentors, he was alone... and then he destroyed his face. He still remembered it...

"Akira! Stop! You're being ridiculous!"

"I don't care, Harmoni! Everyone ignores me because of my face, so I'm getting rid of it! Maybe then I'll have some friends!"

"NO! Don't you understand?! What you've decided to do is basically suicide! Miis can't exist without faces!"

"I DON'T CARE! You don't understand me at all! You're just like all of them!"

Akira ran off, crying, as Harmoni followed. But her attempts to stop him were futile, as she saw an orb of light containing Akira's face fly off and shatter. "No!" She attempted to restore it, desperately sending waves of magic at where it was seconds ago. Nothing worked. "No...!"

Akira's body faded away, and a wispy blue thing took its place. Harmoni's eyes filled with tears as she realized what she had to do, and she grimaced as she used her magic to seal what used to be Akira away...

He had been reborn years later, as a new Mii, and he had Janice to thank for that. She had given him another chance, despite taking possession of the Ex-Dark Lord's body and later the Great Sage's. He didn't deserve that fate, and yet...her kindness changed everything for him. Harmoni, the heroes of Miitopia, and Janice herself...the heroes' leader...they were his friends.

But he held Janice closest to his heart...though he didn't know why.

Why was he in love with her?

Sure, Janice was really pretty, with her black ponytail and shimmering blue eyes, but that was a stupid reason to love her. It made him sound weird...

And she was a great fighter and leader, but that was something anyone would say. So why did he...

Hesitation gripped him, but he shook his head and caught up with the rest of the team, saving his confession to Janice for later.

Very short, but I don't care. Now if you will excuse me, I have the Anju and Kafei sidequest in Majora's Mask 3D to handle.
Peace out! No comments, please and thank you!
