[danielle]

"Should I wake them?" I hear a female voice whisper.

"I don't know," a younger girl whispers as well.

I try to move, but I'm trapped by someone's arm. And as soon as they came, my bedroom door begins to shut quietly, leaving Jonas and I alone. I turn over to face Jonas, and he doesn't seem to aknowledge that I'm watching him as he sleeps, so I keep staring. His hair is ruffled, his cheeks are a light pink, and his plump lips parted open. He looks god-like. I've never seen someone so beautiful.

He's breathtaking.

His eyelids start to flutter open, and he looks directly into my eyes.

Jonas smiles and says, "Morning."

I sign morning in sign language.

He chuckles lightly. "Dani, I don't know sign language."

I hold up my pinkie. Then, I flex my hand, holding it to my forehead and pulling it forward. I make crap-like claws, pinched together, and I put them on either side of my head and pull them outward. Last, I point at Jonas. He makes a confused face while I do my actions.

"What?" he says. I laugh at his comment, turning away from him in the process. Jonas puts his hand on my shoulder, and pulls me back to face him again.

"It's cute when you sign, but I don't know what you're saying," he says giggling.

My cheeks heat up, so I cover my face with my hands.

I could never take a compliment.

Jonas moves his arm from around me and sits up on the bed. I do the same, combing through my tangled hair with my fingers. Jonas gets up off the bed, and I see my phone sitting where his back just was. I grab it and send him a text.
