Chapter 20

TAYLOR'S POV

After a really really long flight we finally landed in South-Africa, Port Elizabeth to be specific. Kelley went to baggage claim and I went to the car rental office to rent a car while we stay here.

Once everything was sorted out I took the car keys and went over to Kelley who is waiting by some seats. "Alright we are sorted," I said as she looked up from her phone. "Well what are you waiting for, lets go and surprise your mom," Kelley said all excited. I just chuckle at her antics and entwine our hand as we walk out of the airport.

"So what car did you rent?" She asked as we walked around the parking lot searching for the car. "Well I got us a Jeep." I said giving her a sheepish smile. "You mean like the one you have at home?" She asked. I nodded my head, "Yup," I replied giving her smile. "Typical," She replied with a small chuckle. "Hey I like my Jeeps missy," I say playfully pointing my finger at her. She laughed it off and pointed to a Jeep in the parking lot, "Is it that one?" She asked and I looked over to where she's pointing. "Yeah c'mon I can't wait any longer." I say walking a bit faster.

I unlocked the car and Kelley helped me put the bags in the trunk. I closed the trunk and saw Kelley going to the wrong side of the car. I chuckled and got out my recording her. She went to the right side door of the car where the steering wheel is.

She opened the door and stared in front of her, "Well this isn't right," She said looking over to me, "I forgot things are the other way around." She said shrugging her shoulders walking towards me. While she was passing me she gave me a quick kiss with a slap on the ass and I let out a little squeak. "Babe I recorded that," I say and she turned around coming back looking into the camera. "Good now the world knows you're mine and only mine," Says giving me another kiss. I felt myself smile into the kiss, "I love you," I said and pecked her lips again, "I love you too," She says with this little twinkle in her eye.

I stopped the video and got into the car. I drove out of the parking lot and made our way to Jeffrey's Bay witch is about an hour long drive. I let Kelley connect to the aux seeing as the radio is in another language. Damn I didn't know that I missed home this much.

After a while Kelley turned the music down a bit and turned a bit more towards me. I raised one of my eyebrows at her. "I got a joke for you," She said looking like a little kid in a candy store. "Alright let me hear it," I replied with a small smile on my face. I secretly record her because I know when she gets this excited about a joke it's bound to be a good one.

"Alright, knock knock,"

"Who's there?" I asked.

"U" She replied turning in her seat completely facing me and sitting criss cross apple sauce.

"U who?"

"Uhooo midsummer blowout," She said laughing her ass off. I joined in the laughing and looked over to her. "Y-you're a re-real d-dork," I try to say between laughs. I stopped recording and tried to wipe the tears out of my eyes. "I have to give it to you that was a really good one," I replied placing my hand on her thigh. "Damn right it was," She said looking proud of herself.

After a few more minutes of telling jokes and talking we finally arrived at my moms house. It's a two story house with a killer view of the ocean and reasonable big yard.

"We can leave our stuff for now," I say to Kelley as we got out of the car. The next moment I feel a dog jumping onto me knocking me onto the ground. She started to lick me and I couldn't help but laugh.

"Hey bubba I missed you so much," I say as I play with my moms dog, Nalla. After a few minutes of playing with her I got up off of the ground and went over to Kelley who was observing us. "You ready to meet my mom?" I asked her excitedly. "As ready as I'll ever be," She said. I took her hand in mine and gave her a reassuring smile, "You'll be fine I promise." I say to her as we walked towards the porch.

I rung the doorbell and waited a few seconds for someone to open the door. "Who is it!?" I heard from the other side of the door. "Special delivery!" I yell back. I could hear someone coming towards the door.

My sister, Evan, opened the door and her eyes went wide. "Wat die hel maak jy hier!?" "What the hell are you doing here!?", My sister asked me and bringing me in for one of her infamous bear hugs. I wrapped my arms around her neck as I felt her picking me up and spinning me around.

"EK het julle kom verras," "I came to surprise you guys," I say to her once she put me down. "Oh Evan this is Kelley, my girlfriend and Kelley this is Evan, my sister." I say introducing them to each other.

"Ah nice to finally meet you, Taylor won't about up about you." My sister replies sticking out her hand. "Evaannn." I whine out annoyed. "Same here and I know the feeling she won't shut up about you guys either," She says. "Seriously Kelley?" I ask her getting embarrassed.

"Well come on in I know mom would be really surprised to see you," Evan says getting excited.

"My magatag die ou vrou lewe nog," "My goodness the old lady still lives," I say jokingly to my mom. She turns around in her chair just as surprised as Evan. She got up and came over with arms wide open. "Wat maak jy hier? Ek dog jy kan nie kom nie." "What are you doing here? I taught you could'n come." She says starting to cry. I wrapped my arms around my mom giving her a long tight hug.

"Ma weet ek sou die nie vir die wereld mis nie." "Mom knows I wouldn't miss this for the world." I say letting out a few tears as well. I pulled away and gestured for Kelley to come closer. Once she was standing next to me I took her hand in mine.

"Mom this is my girlfriend, Kelley. Kelley this is my mom." I say introducing her for the second time tonight. "Well it's nice to meet the woman who makes my baby girl happy." She says as she opens her arms for Kelley to hug her. "It's really nice to meet you too mrs Anderson." Kelley says as she pulled away.

I looked over to Kelley and see her with a bright smile on her face. "Oh I can't wait to show you all the baby photos of Taylor." My mom says and my eyes go wide. "And you can't forget about the stories." Evan says coming into the living room. "No guys please don't," I say blushing. Kelley let out a laugh and looked over to my mom. "Oh this should be fun," She said looking over to me with a sly grin playing on her lips.

Oh dear lord what did I get myself into??
