Chapter 29

TAYLOR'S POV

We have been back in the States for a few days now and we are currently on our way for the interview we have with Katie.

Kelley and I walked hand in hand behind a woman who is leading us to a room where the interview will be held. We walk into a room full of people and as we walk past the door someone scared the crap out of us. "Ek gaan vir jou moer," I curse in my language while Kelley laughs her ass off with Allie Long.

"Why do you keep doing this to me?" I ask the both of them giving Allie a smack on her shoulder. "Because it is fun and uhh we like to scare you," Allie says high fiving Kelley. "You were in on it too, weren't you?" I ask Kelley giving her a playful glare. "Yup," She chuckles. "What are you doing here?" I ask Allie.

"We are her for the same reason as you two," She says and points at the two of us. "But Batti and I already had our interview. You two are the last pair." She says and I nod my head. "And I'm assuming that they are interviewing the players that are dating or married to someone," I say and Allie nods her head. "Where's Batti?" Kelley asks.

"Oh he and Serv had to go so I stayed back with Alex." as she says that Alex walks into the room with four cups of coffee. "There she is," Allie says as Alex walks over to us.

"Hey guys," She greets us with a hug. "Hey Alex," I say and pull away from the hug. "Here, these are for you," She says and hands us the coffee. "Thanks Janice," Kelley says and I chuckle at the nickname she has for her.

"So, how was Africa?" Alex ask us as we sit down on some seats near by. "It was so much fun. We went to the beach and I got surf with Kelly Slater. Oh and Taylor's family is so nice." Kelley starts off her excited rambling as she tell the pair about our visit. I sit and listen to her rubbing circles on her back as she tells them about everything we did in Africa.

"We are ready for you," Some guy says and we stand up to go take our seats in front of the camera.

"Hey guys, you ready to begin?" Katie asks. "Let's do this," Kelley says. "Okay, so how this is going to work is that the computers in front of you will have the questions. You just read them out load and answer them. I'm going to be sitting behind the camera." She says. "Okay cool," I say as we get mic'd up.

"Oh give a short introduction of yourselves please." We nod and the man behind the camera starts counting down.

"Hi guys, I'm Kelley O'Hara, defender for the US Women's National Team and this is my wonderful, goof of a girlfriend, Taylor Anderson." Kelley says grabbing my face and pecks my check. I chuckle at her antics, "Kelley," I whine out still chuckling. "What?" She asks with a smile on her face. "You're the bigger goof," I say and she gives me pout. "Anyway, we are here to do the couples quiz thing," I say not really knowing what to call this. Kelley chuckles at me and drapes her arm over my chair.

"Who's going first?" I ask her with a grin on my face. "I'll go," She says and reads the first question.

"How did we meet?" She says and I chuckle at the memory.

She looks at me with a grin on her face, "It's actually a funny story. I was taking my dog, Scooby, out for a walk on the beach. Me and my best friend had just moved into our beach condo thing and I was tired of unpacking. I threw a ball or a frizz bee, I can't really remember what we did, but Scooby decided to run off to a group of girls and when I went to go fetch him I recognized the ladies as the National team." I say looking over to Kelley.

"Haha yeah, we petted him and that's when I saw Taylor. She was wearing my jersey so obviously I went to say hello. It was actually cute, because she was rambling saying sorry and stuff. I asked her if she is going to the game, but she said no because the tickets were sold out. I offered her tickets to the game and the rest is kind of history," She finishes off. I give her a smile and we chuckle a bit at Alex and Allie making kissing gestures.
