Chapter 8

KELLEY'S POV

I woke up earlier today than usual because today is the day om me and Taylor's date. God I'm so excited for this. I've waited a while for this moment to come.. I just hope I don't mess up.

I reached for my phone only to see that I have a text message from Taylor.

MY FAIR LADY- Good morning. Thank you for last night, I really enjoyed it. I hope you have a fantastic day. See you later.

At this moment I smiling like an idiot. I quickly replied.

Good morning beauty. I can't wait to see you.

I quickly got ready to finish the final arrangement for the date. After I'm done I decided to kill time and watch something on Netflix. I ended up watching FRIENDS cuz who the hell doesn't like Friends??

TAYLOR'S POV

After I texted Kelley I got up and went out to do some shopping cuz I needed a new one. I ended up buying a bikini and some new flipflops and a cute dress-thing to put over my bikini.

I walked around for a bit exploring the city because I haven't had the chance to. When I looked at my watch I almost chocked on my coffee. I had a hour to get ready for my date. I rushed home and took a quick shower. I put on a little make up and left my hair to air dry cuz there is no use in doing the, if we are going to swim

I went into my closet to get my dress for tonight. It wasn't anything fancy, just casual. I wire some flats with my dress finishing my look.

I looked into the mirror satisfied with my look. I looked at the time and saw that I had 20 minutes to spare, so I went downstairs to watch some TV.

A few minutes later I received a text from Kelley saying that she is near. I got more nervous and a million thoughts ran through my mind. What if she doesn't like me or I mess up the date or something..

A knock on the door broke me out of my thinking. When I opened the door I stood there with my mouth hung open. In front of me is the most beautiful women in the world with flowers in her hand.

She also had a cute baby blue dress on. God she look beautiful.

"I didn't know what your favourite flower was so I just bought Roses." Kelley spoke breaking me out of my trance.

"Thank you, it's beautiful. Let me just put it in a vase real quick. But you can come in." I said walking to the kitchen.

"You have a nice place and I really love the view you have over the ocean" Kelley called from the living room.

"Thanks, that's kinda the only reason why I bought it" I replied with a chuckle.

"Alright I'm ready," I said as I walked into the living room grapping my jacket off the couch.

She turned around and nodded her head. "You look beautiful tonight she said taking my hands in hers. "Look who's talking." I said looking her up and down.

She lead me to her car and opened the door form me.

"So where are we going?" I looked over at her. "That, Ms Anderson, I can't tell. It wouldn't be a surprise" She looked at me and back to road. I decided to question her more.

"Oh please tell me.. The anticipation is killing me" I started to beg. "Nope, nice try but I'm still not telling you." She replied with a small chuckle.

"Just one clue." I said putting my hands together and looked at her with puppy dog eyes. We stopped at a red light and she looked over at me and made a thinking face.

"Alright it is somewhere a bit out of the city." I looked at her "You are not taking me there to kill me, are you?" "What? No. Now why would I kill someone as beautiful as you?" She said and looked at me with a little smirk on her face.

"Thank God!!! But I think we all know who is beautiful." "Oh really now who would that be?" She asked and I decided to tease her a bit. "Well if you must know it is your good friend Alex Morgan. Man I would give anything to go out with her." I said trying not to laugh.

She looked over to me with disbelief written all over her face. I started to laugh my ass of and Kelley looked confused as fuck.

"I was only joking Kells." I said wiping the tears off of my face. She sighed a sigh of relief and put her hand over her heart. "Dear god Taylor, don't do that." "Oh come on it was funny."

"For you yeah." She said with a pout. "Hey I only have eyes for you" I said and grabbed her hand over the console. She gave me a smile and continued on driving.

A few minutes passed and Kelley turned onto a dirt road. We parked in front of a lake and man was that a beautiful view.

Kelley came around to my door and opened it for me. "Wow Kelley this is so beautiful." I said looking at view with awe. "I'm glad you like it." She replied getting the stuff from the trunk. She pulled out a pick nick basked and a blanket.

"Here let me help." I said and look the blanket. "Thanks." She said and intertwined our hands. She led me to a small boat at the docks and climbed in and putted the basket and blanket on one of the built in coaches.

She stuck out her hand for me and helped me onto the boat. "Wow Ms O'Hara you really out done yourself." I said putting my arms around her neck and she laced her arms around my waist pulling me closer towards her and closing the gap between our bodies.

"Only the best for the best" She replied looking deep into my eyes and a small smile on her face. The angle of the sun gave her this glow on her face and she looked even more beautiful... if that was even possible.

"Let's get this date started." She said and went into the cockpit and started the boat.

We drove around for a bit and stopped in the middle of the lake. She got the blanket and basket and started to unpack everything.

There were sandwiches, yogurt, cut up fruit, some chocolates, champagne and more food.

We sat down and started a light conversation.
