The next week would fly by pretty quickly and since her night spent at his apartment, Stevie kept her distance from Lindsey and if he did happen to approach her, she was as nice as she could be. But on this Friday evening, she was coming home early from school. Though she had two or three classes per the five she had, they still lasted hours and it was only an occasion that they got cancelled and today, there was a note plastered to the door of her latest class.

Making her way from the back in which would cause her to pass Lindsey's place by, she fumbled with her keys as she cradled her books from the day---trying to get to her mailbox.

"Hey, Stevie?" Lindsey caught her off guard as he came near.

Letting off an internal sigh, she turned and gave a smile. "Yeah?" she asked as she continued to head for her mailbox. Once there, she stuck the key in and turned it with force since the metal boxes and locks constantly got jammed.

"So, um... You're home early," he pointed out.

"Yeah," she smirked to herself as she stacked her mail on top of her books.

"Well, you know, I've been thinking..." he lingered on. "You said we didn't really know each other and in a nutshell, you did say I make you uncomfortable because you don't know me or my intentions."

"Your point?" she growled lightly at the mailbox because in turning the key to lock it, the mail she was holding fell out of her grasp.

Kneeling down to start picking it up, "The point is--"

"Thank you," she kneeled down, kind of cutting off his statement.

"Uh-huh," he nodded and tried to continue as he got up. "Well, I'm gonna take you to dinner," he simply stated---being more assertive instead of sweet just because he was throwing himself off of his own game.

"What?" she scoffed just a tad, more or less laughing at his words.

"Yeah, tonight, actually---" he grinned, leaning against the wall the mailboxes were mounted to.

"Um..." she was kind of taken aback just because she seriously didn't know how to respond.

"And it's gonna be nice. Throw on something sexy and I'll walk over here to get you about seven," he winked before walking away, back to his own dwelling.

"Okay..." she mumbled to herself as she approached her front door. But as she was making her way through her side door, she looked at the time and she noticed it was going to be three soon. "Ooh," she gasped to herself, realizing four hours was not enough time for her to get ready.

Sitting in the tub, she was actually drinking a glass of wine because she was trying to loosen up just a tad before she had to go out with Lindsey. Having pulled the phone into the bathroom from her bedroom, it was sitting on the flat edge of the tub.

Just a small one, she relieved a sigh and she picked up her phone so that she could dial one of the girls.

Since Lori seemed to be inclined into what was going on between herself and Lindsey, at least the push-pull reaction she had with her feelings toward the man, she was sure her soon to be sister in-law could help her in some way and then of course, she knew Robin was at school still while Lori was most likely home since she only had one class in the morning and no work on Friday evenings.

Listening to it ring, Stevie held her breath for that long while.

"Hello?"

"Help me," she said flat out when she heard the other girl.
