Lindsey and Mick quietly escorted Carol Ann to the floor they had all been on and Lindsey just brought her into his room to talk while the drummer hung outside, waiting in the hallway for any sort of trouble.
"Lindsey, why haven't you called me?" Carol Ann asked as she placed her hands on his chest.
Taking her hands off, "Because we're not together anymore... You're still high so don't lie and say you're not. I don't have time for your bullshit when I have a whole life and career."
"Don't be mean," she pouted.
"I'm not being mean, Carol, I'm telling you the truth. As I said, I think it is very sweet of you to come out here and be here for me because of my dad, but as I also said, I don't want any company. I'd rather be alone."
"Why? You always want to be alone. You never want me around," she snatched her hands from his and she stormed around a moment.
"You're right, I don't want you around. Look, maybe if you weren't snorting shit all day, maybe we could have ended our relationship with a decent friendship, but that's clearly not gonna happen," he stopped. He stared at her for a really long time, her very sick looking self. "When's the last time you've eaten?" he had to ask.
"I'm not sure," she tried to think back but she shook her head because thought process wasn't even something she had.
"Alright, I'm gonna get you something to eat, but then you have to go. Carol, I can't have you here---we're not together anymore and there's a reason for that," he kept his arms crossed as he stared at her.
She nodded her head heavily and she took a seat at the foot of the bed.
"Just pick something so we can get this over with," he handed her the menu.
She scanned through it, picking the first thing she could clearly read because she almost couldn't see the words at all.
Without hesitation, he ordered her choosing and he sat down in a chair, far away from her because he really didn't want her all over him. Whatever perfume she was wearing, it was crappy though the lingering affect made him believe it was something expensive and that was the last thing he needed all over his clothes for when Stevie did return.

Sitting on the couch with Christine, Stevie was curled under a blanket, watching The Godfather since it happened to be on. It was mostly just a background sound since they were talking the entire time---they had bonded so quickly.
"So, I wanted to give you this," the older blonde handed her a diamond ring.
Arching a brow lightly, "For what?"
"Just a friendship ring... I think you're basically the only other girl in the band that hasn't made me want to rip my hair out. Lindsey's had his share of girlfriends and I've liked none of them except for you."
"Well, I'm honored," she laughed a little.
"Yeah, just take care of it," she assured.
"I actually have something for you too---I had it made before I left," Stevie got up and made her way to her bag. "See, all the women in my life---my best friends get a gold crecent moon necklace and it says Sister of the Moon. Robin and Lori have one, I'm gonna have one made for Sharon and then I got this one for you. I know you're very one of the guys, so I don't expect you to wear it, but I still got it anyway. My special jeweler friend makes them for me and I get a good deal."
"Well, thank you," the woman smiled as she looked at it---actually preparing to put it on. "I've never gotten anything like this before," she assured. "Well, I have but not from a girl as a friend before---usually men as lovers."
