The light of the Arizona sun would cut into the room like glass, waking Lindsey just a little bit after six a.m. since the cream sheers didn't do the best job sheilding the bright sun.

Bringing a hand up, he started rubbing his eyes and as he tried to get up, he realized Stevie had her head kind of resting on his shoulder. He then kind of grinned as he watched her sleep because she did look to be at peace and he was quite taken by her.

Since day one; he had been captivated by her effortless beauty, the unique way she did her makeup, her deep red nails, all the jewelry she wore, the fact that she wore seven inch platforms boots for the sake of her petite size, and just overall, how she carried herself.

When he had first met her, he knew he was definitely intimidated by her and though he couldn't understand why, since he had a way he spoke to certain people to persuade or even make them conform. But he just couldn't do that with her; it was as if he enjoyed the intimidating feeling because he had never felt that with a woman before, since he had his fair share of experiences, brought to him by being a rock and roll singer and guitarist. Though the other thing that simply had him sucked into her world was the fact that she looked passed his work and profession and she talked to him like a real person. Other women would have had their way with him until he coughed up gifts or money, but she didn't do that and it only made him want to do things for her. She was actually into him for his personality and he held a sort of pride for her.

He had remained where he was, not ready to get up while also not prepared to wake her.

As if on key, she started to shift and roll onto her back and she brought a hand up to run her hair out of her face.

He watched her and he pursed his lips, "Morning," he mumbled.

She opened her eyes and she looked up a bit, "Morning---did you sleep well?" she asked, pushing herself up.

"Yeah," he nodded and he sat up some more.

"Mom's gotta make some darker curtains or something for this room. I've been telling her, for a couple years, that the sun rises on this side."

He kind of smirked as he looked out while squinting. "It's such a clear sky, though," he had to admit since it was bright blue.

"Mhmm... Even though it will start heating up, the sky never fails to be gorgeous," she pulled her knees up to her chest to hug in place. "As much as I love home---nothing compares to California's weather," she arched a brow.

"Tell me about it," he chuckled. "All the places in the world, but I agree, California is my home."

A comfortable block of silence washed over them as they contemplated their next tasks.

Peeling the sheets and thin comforter off of herself she revealed the flesh of her legs---her pale skin he never saw much of since she was always wearing some form of black nylons or tights, as well as her dainty feet that had the same deep red nail polish on her toes as her fingers and a gold anklet he had never seen.

"I'm gonna jump in the shower real quick and start getting ready---if you wanna shower, it's right next door," she pointed. "Chris and Lori get up kind of late and Barbara and Jess should be up in another hour or so, but they have a full bathroom, and that's where I'll be, in their room so you don't have to worry about anybody bugging you," she lifted her bag onto the bed so she could pull some clothes out---being pretty free with all that was in her bag because she wasn't really hiding anything at all such as her feminine things, birth control, vitamins, perfumes, lotions, hair products, etcetera.

"Thanks," he pursed his lips as he watched her go about her own things; taking comfort in the fact that she did take good care of herself even though she seemed to have an OCD order going.
