It was finally the wedding they had all been waiting and preparing for; the fifteenth of January, nineteen-eighty-four. And in Stevie's case, this Sunday meant she was three weeks and five days away from the end of her first trimester---at least that's how she had been counting because she learned that one trimester wasn't exactly twelve weeks or three months---it was fourteen weeks. It bummed her out when she realized she wasn't as far as she thought she was.

In the beautiful dark teal, silk gown Lori had altered for each girl; it had short bell sleeves---a sinched waist in which caused her the fear that her teeny bump was protruding---it was a V-neck and just overall flattering to the simple wedding that was just over the horizon. Paired with it, she wore ivory boots, since she had that to match and the bride didn't care too much about the shoes and over she had an ivory colored shawl for the later evening.

Making her way to the full length mirror in the guest bedroom of her parents' house, she began lip trilling. She stared hard at the tiny bump, to her; it only looked as though she was bloated and hopefully that's how it looked to others. She would definitely ask Lori and Robin once she reconvened with them.

Pretty soon there were footsteps coming down the hall and hearing them near with each step, she immediately hugged herself, shutting the shawl to cover her middle.

Lindsey entered the bedroom slowly, the door slightly cracked already. "Hey, the band is already at the venue," mentioning---already dressed nicely for the day.

He was wearing dark wash blue jeans that were pressed, dress shoes and a black button down under a blazor. His attire didn't have to be as dressy since he was only playing with his band and he didn't have to walk with Stevie down the isle.

"Oh, okay---then we'll see you there?" she stepped forward---her mind blank as she spoke, not even listening to her own words.

"We're just gonna set up and do a sound check before the wedding starts. But let me go now so we're done on time---" he pecked her lips. "You look hot, by the way," he winked.

Arching a brow, "You're not too bad yourself," she smiled---turning him around to shove him towards the hall since she was on the way out herself.

Walking out together, they went opposite directions and hers was to meet Lori in Chris' bedroom---where she was getting ready for her big day.

Just this last Friday, everybody made their way out to Arizona so they could have the wedding with family; Lori's father and siblings would have traveled from Texas and mostly everybody else was on their way from California right with the bride. But the night before; Chris, Kim, Robin and Lori's family checked into a hotel and it was Lindsey who paid for it since he was well known and just trying to be helpful and friendly toward yet another family he barely knew.

Knocking her knuckles gently into the wood door, the blonde kind of looked over at her parents' bedroom door since she knew her mother was most likely on her way out with her father to make sure the boys were on schedule at the hotel---having been left by Robin at an early time.

Lori opened the door and stepped aside for her new sister to come in.

She was still in her robe though her red curls were cascading down her back partly while some of her crown was pulled back in a princess style---some pieces framing her very glamorous, though natural made up face.

"You look so beautiful," Stevie smiled, her fingers combing through some of the longer, bottom tresses.

She had done the redhead's makeup way before starting her own and once the other woman got there, she started herself and Robin did her hair. And now returning, she was going to touch up and finally add some lipstick to her.
