After the two were seated, Stevie was sipping on yet another glass of red wine as she watched him fumble around a bit.

Even though they had been there for a good twenty minutes, Lindsey was moving around a lot and that was mostly because he was nervous and he didn't want to say or do anything that would upset her; something mindless or stupid.

"So, do you have anything to say to what I told you?" she had to ask.

Having opened to him in the parking lot, that wasn't something she did often, nor so soon if she were to do it at all.

Looking away from the menu as he sipped from his short glass filled with whiskey, he looked up at her and he kind of smirked. "I guess not... I mean, I get it. I'm a closed book until I feel exceptionally comfortable," he shrugged with a little bit of width to his eyes and an arch to one brow. "That really isn't all that often. Despite the fame, I'm quite antisocial."

She kind of pursed her lips, "What's it like to be in a band then?" she questioned as she went for her glass again.

Shrugging in the slightest, "I can open to my bandmates but that is because they've known me for a long time and that's what makes the band's chemistry. As simple as if one of us isn't feeling well, we're not gonna play good. So, how 'bout you?"

"How about me? What?" she shrugged.

"Well, I hear you're an avid writer and reader... and in Speech Communication, or Communication... " he lingered, unsure of himself.

"How do you know that?" she furrowed her brows, a near laugh coming from her tone because she was stunned he would know that much.

"Well, sometimes, I can hear you guys talking or you on the phone and I know you guys go back and forth with your speeches. And most the time, I can hear you guys if I leave that front window open. You're really good at speaking in front of people," he smirked. "Even though you are, you can be quite timid with your girlfriends."

"I'm alright," she kind of shrugged. "I can do almost anything in front of Lori and Robin because I've known them forever, but they get on to some very interesting subjects I don't want to talk about, or maybe I don't have much to say about. They like to talk about sex a lot and I just can't," she put her hand up to her head as she laughed. "I can't believe I just told you that," she sort of blushed.

He smirked gently, more or less happy to see her smiling and happy, but he then shifted the topic for the sake of her blushing. "How'd you meet them? You ladies do seem rather close."

"My brother brought Lori into our lives---he picked her up somewhere in L.A at Sound City oddly enough. She was working odd jobs and they've been in love since then. I took a liking to her first, since I got to meet her first and we hit it off... She only graduated high school, I told her taking some classes wouldn't be a bad idea since I was so keen about school so she is only doing two classes and it works for her especially with their income. I honestly think she is close to not finishing school just because it really isn't her style, but I'm glad she at least tried it. She's really smart despite all the stupid ideas we get when drinking," she shrugged and took a sip of wine only to stop her rambling because she could feel herself talking too fast.

Chuckling, "I don't think anybody makes conscious decisions when drinking," he rolled his eyes to himself since he had personal experience.

"Right," she laughed. "And then Robin, I've been friends with her since high school. My parents and I had kind of been back and forth from Arizona and New Mexico, till we landed in San Jose and that's where we stayed for me to get through high school."

At some point, the two of them managed to order dinner and recieve it since they were talking so avidly and Stevie was busy date-eating for the sake of their talking.
