It took Stevie a while to get to Lindsey. It took an hour just to figure out the disorganized tour schedule that wasn't in date order, or any kind of order, for that matter. It took an hour to scramble around her place to repack her things---it worked out since she had gotten the chance to do her laundry the day before. She called Ruth whom was in San Jose with her other sons---just to let her know where her youngest son was and letting her know she was on her way to him. Then she just had Lori drop her off at the airport so she could fly out to Massachusetts to meet him at whatever hotel or venue he was; she had the information, she just didn't know where she would most likely be able to find him at the time when she actually arrived.

Just at the tail end of January, Massachusetts would be snowy and overall gorgeous even if it was cold so she was able to pack her things accordingly to the weather out east. Her travel out of state was a five and a half hour flight---a typical travel time for anywhere she seemed to go whether it was to San Jose or Arizona. But the entire flight, she was on edge; she had no idea how she would possibly break the news to him. How could she just tell him his father had died?

As soon as she got to the landing strip, she was actually able to call Lindsey's management team from the airport to send a car for her. Having been in many limos and regular short black cars, they knew who she was, what she looked like and that they were to come for her if she needed them. To them, it seemed as if she were just surprising her boyfriend and though it would be, they didn't know her part of the story. She then was dropped at the five-star hotel and the man driving her around took her bags down while she gathered her information to finally meet him for the first time.

Slightly exasperated, butterflies took over her tummy as she prepared to knock on the door and when she did, she took a step back, just to unbuckle her coat since she felt completely restricted. Looking down, she made sure to pull her dress up a little, just to wrinkle the fabric enough so her bump wouldn't show and she was hopeful since she was also wearing a long scarf.

After a few seconds she heard, "Come in," in a faint tone.

She pushed open the door and she slowly entered, taking in the back of him since he was facing the window---taking in the snow covered mountains and city. She then cleared her throat gently, "Lindsey?"

He spun around immediately when he heard her voice. His arms fell from being crossed and his expression softened. "What are you doing here?" he asked, quite surprised---she didn't even seem like the type to apologize first or make a grand gesture to showcase it.

Without another word, she came forward and wrapped her arms around his neck---hugging him tightly.

"I missed you," he mentioned lowly.

"Me too..." as she pulled away, her hands resting on his shoulders. "I came for many reasons... First, I wanna say I'm sorry for acting like a bitch that night. I read your note and believe me, things weren't going the way I planned either and I didn't mean to say a lot of those things. I was just heated about something else."

He kind of grinned at her, very soft because he could almost sense other things about to come from what she started out with.

"Besides, this would have been a long way to go just to say goodbye," she added, swiping the side of his face---trying her hardest to figure out how she would form the next topic.

"Beats meeting me in another country," he chuckled a little as his fingertips kind of kneaded her back.

Sighing a little, she hung her head---her hands sliding down his chest as she did so.

"What is it?" he asked, knowing there had to be something wrong, just by her timid mannerisms. He however also had to take it as she was tired since it was going on four in the morning with her flight and the three hours ahead.
