Chapter 23

Today is the grand day. Pinagdasal ko na sana layuan muna ako ng mga naiisip ko kahit isang araw man lang, kahit ngayon lang.

"Look up.." Sinunod ko ang gusto ng makeup artist at tumingala. Hindi ko na pinapansin ang ginagawa niya dahil professional naman siya at alam niya ang mga ginagawa niya. Mom asked for something light and dewy makeup for me. I asked for something waterproof, I am sure na maiiyak ako mamaya in the middle of walk, or in the middle of my speech.

Tatlo lang kami nandito sa isan hotel room. There's my gay makeup artist and his boyfriend na siyang nag-aayos naman sa aking susuotin. I'm currently wearing a robe, since kalalabas ko lang ng banyo tapos pinaupo na ako dito.

"Your eyes are pretty na hija, is it heavy?" He asked when he's putting mascara under my eyes. I shook my head and tell him that no. "Your mom wants to have a on flick eyeshadow look but your eyes are enough to stand out."

Nahihiya naman akong ngumiti sa kaniya at nagpasalamat. He continue what he's doing until his boyfriend tap him. Telling that he'll be out to grab something at their car. Naiwan nalang kaming dalawa pero mula sa vanity mirror, nakita ko na pumasok nanaman siya.

"Babe, may naghahanap kay Ms. Khloe." Nabitawan ni MUA ang mukha ko at sabay kaming napatingin.

"Po?"

"Rey daw pangalan. Ikaw hanap." Ngumiti ito at nawala. Pero napalitan siya mismo.. ni Rey. Literal na nanlaki ang mata ko dahil sa nakita.

"Hey! What are you doing here?" The MUA allow him to enter, so I should get back to my position. Malaki ang mirror sa harapan ko and I saw him exploring the whole hotel room. When he finished touring the room, he sat on the bed.

He's currently wearing a suit! Hindi pa naman ngayon ang graduation nila! Sa makalawa pa! "Pinupuntahan ka. I can't wait at the lobby so I run into tita and asked for your room."

Bigla akong natahimik sa narinig. Nandito lang kanina si mommy pero kailangan niya bumalik sa bahay to tell my titos and titas na puwede na sila pumunta. And I didn't know that he got stumbled to mom and asked what room I'm in.

He knew already. He knew that mom caught us andb I told him all the truth. I don't know what's happening to myself but the time I said it, I am scared. I am scared of.. nothing. Hindi ko alam kung bakit takot na takot akong sabihin sa kaniya iyon when he needed to know about it.

I tried to shoo it away and I succeed. We're happy that we are accepted by mommy.. But we know that we still have a lot of things to conquer on. "She didn't get mad?"

"Hindi naman. Nagulat nga siya nang nakita ako. Sinabi pa niya na ang guwapo ko raw." And he even made a pogi sign. Na nakita naming dalawa ng MUA ko. We can't help but to laugh and roll my eyes.

Natahimik na kami pagkatapos noon. Nakikita ko na kumukuha ng litrato si Rey sa akin at malapad na ngumingiti. I wonder what he's doing, or where is he posting that picture. One time, he posted one of my epic picture without my consent! Bwisit talaga!

"Does that feel heavy?" I shook my head and point what I feel like uncomfortable. Although I can make myself up but mommy insists, she said I must get a professional one to make sure. Para na rin daw maglast long buong ceremony ang suot ko.

She probably knows that I sucks at longevity of what I'm wearing. Napansin ko na tumayo siya at biglang tumabi sa akin. The MUA look at him but immediately return to what he's doing. He's currently fixing my lips, so maayos kong nalingon siya.

"What?" I asked in between layering lipliner. He shook his head and brush his hair back. He's wearing the same style he wore noong kasal ng ate ni Louise. He has no tie, only polo and the suit. It somehow matched the color of our batch.
