It's already late at night but I can't still move on from what was happened earlier.
"Hindi ka pa ba matutulog?" Anika worriedly asked while she was opening her face mask.
I sigh, "Later. Magpapahangin lang muna ako sa labas." Matamlay ang aking pakiramdam.
"Are you alright?" Pahabol niyang tanong.
I smiled and nodded before closing the door. I made myself busy on making a coffee until a memory went inside my mind.
I heard Anika reacted, "OMG! This can't be!"
No, this is not true. He's not my brother, he's not Kuya Rio.
"Miss, what's wrong?"
But his soft voice telling me to believe that it's really him. Am I crazy?
I was about to ask his name when a woman interrupted the situation. "Allen, I was looking for you. Akala ko nawala ka na."
She looks lovely in her nude pink off shoulder, black fitted skirt for the bottom, and black wedge sandals. That lovely face, it's seems familiar.
He paused for a moment waiting for me to tell him my name.
"Rishan. My name is Rishan." I am proud to tell my name hoping him to remember me yet I realized that his name wasn't Rio but Allen.
"Mom, what's wrong?
"What happened to her Mom?" Anika was curious as well as my mind.
"I don't know. But I am bit disappointed that he is not Kuya Rio," I replied before taking a deep breath.
The boy glanced at us once again and waved his hand and smiled genuinely. I smiled back pero hindi abot hanggang tenga.
"Ouch!" I was unconsciously pouring hot water while my other hand was holding the cup.
Don't think too much, Rish. You're just tired and pressured for your wedding day. Come on, be attentive.
I asked her after yawning.
"Oh! Nandito na sina Mommy at Daddy! Come on, let's greet them." Her eyes are full of excitement while my mind wishing that I am like her too.
"Hello, Mom! I miss you both!" She hugged her parents and they kissed her forehead.
