Yes there is a sequel, but it doesn't have to be read. It's about Uniqua and Connor, her new guy best friend. It also has other guys in it, who you will be shipping or hating; if you read it that is.....
Her crush on 'Ryan' does NOT is not relevant in book, but the first few chapters are about how she gets over him.
