The Almost Kiss

              Sin and I move apart as we were about to kiss when we were interrupted by someone at the door. Sin looked over and I did the same. I saw Ella standing there. "I am so terribly sorry to bother you both. I was just wondering if Ivy was ready to go home now. He moved away from me and straightened out his shirt and smiled at Ella. "Of course. We were just going over her grades." Sin lied. Ella chuckled. " I am sure that's what you both were doing." She said with a wink. I could feel my face turn red. Sin slipped me a piece of paper. "Well Ivy that's all for now. You can go. Have a good night you two." He said with a smile. I looked at him "Thank you sir. Have a good night." I said as I rushed out of the room to go meet up with Ella was grinning from ear to ear. We started walking from the class. "How did you even know where I Was?" I asked Ella. She just giggled at me and said " Really Ivy? You should know when they aren't happy everyone knows about it." I rolled my eyes. "Yeah they weren't happy that I stayed alone with him and I am sure they aren't happy I turned my phone off." I said

        Ella just shook her head. "They both kept trying to call and you and text you. Good thing today was a short day and we all had one class today. Which I don't know why we even had to come today then. I know midterms and exams are coming up. So that's why most likely. You however looked very very cozy with the new teacher." She said with a wink. I felt myself blushing and I looked at her. "It was honestly innocent. He is new here too. I literally ran into him yesterday. I need to stop doing that. I Was so frustrated with James and his stupid tutoring that I was so distracted that I didn't see him!" I said "Oh that's right. James is a student teacher for Spanish class." Ella said. We walked and talked for awhile until we got to Cam and James house. I knew  I was in for trouble with shutting my phone off.

     I think Ella could sense my nervousness. She just hugged me and we walked into together. James looked at me and just rolled his eyes. He completely ignored that I was even there. Cam came out of his room and looked at me too and then sat down by James. The silent treatment. I walked out back to go sit outside. It was too nice to be sitting inside. I hear Ella telling them how stupid they were acting. I couldn't help but chuckle as she did because she wasn't wrong. I take out the paper Sin gave me and I opened. It was his number telling me to text him anytime. So I put his number into my phone and save it. Then I decide to text him.

Me: Hey Sin, It's Ivy. I thought I'd text you so you'd have my number.

Sin: Well thank you Ivy. I am glad you did. I'm sorry our time got cut short.

I smile as I read his text. Me: Me too. Maybe it was for the better. I don't think an open classroom would have been a good idea.

Sin: LOL You are right. I think it's frowned upon. I know this is against the rules and everything but no one really knows so it's okay.

Me: Ouu such a rule breaker ;)

Sin: You have no idea how much a rule breaker I am.

I just grin to myself as I read that. I look up and everyone is out here. I put my phone away. I go over and sit by Ella. I am still getting the silent treatment from Cam and James. Ella looked at me. " You had a happy look on your face." She smiled. "Nah Just relieved today's a short day. Wasnt feeling school today." I said She laughed " Im sure it has nothing to do with fact your probably texting your super good looking English teacher." She said with a wink. I just smiled at her and we talked just us. The boys were doing their own thing.
