Something Gained

The afternoon

               I have no idea what James and Cam were even up to now. They disappeared off to do god knows what, so Ella and I just kind of hung around talking. I enjoyed my time with my friends. We all are so close even if at times I'd like to strangle Cam or James. Mainly James because that's just how he is. We could hear them in the house laughing at something. Ella just shook her head. "Those two I swear. I don't get them half the time. Sometimes it's like dealing with children when it comes to those two." Ella said with a laugh. I busted out laughing as she said it. "It is dealing with children when it comes to those two. Although I'm not sure which one is the bigger child." I replied with a laugh. Ella was laughing so hard that she fell over. "Fuck that is great." She said. "Are you okay?" I said laughing.

           We were just hanging out the two of us while we waited to see when James and Cam would be back from getting pizza. We discovered that is where they went when we got there. They returned and we heard a female voice. Ella had a look on her face. She knew who it was and she rolled her eyes. "It's Lana. They brought Lana back." Ella said with an eye roll. I chuckled. The three of them came out as soon Ella had to suddenly leave because cocshe got a call from her parents saying her older brother Brayden was in a car accident and was in the hospital.  Lana came over and sat by me. She looked me over and rolled her eyes at me. I was instantly annoyed as soon as she came by me.

          James handed us some pizza and soda. He went to go sit back down so he to eat his dinner. I slowly was eating my food, while thinking if Ella's brother was okay. Then my mind wandered to Sin. Wondering what he was doing right now. My thoughts got disturbed as Lana started talking to me. "So what's your name and why are you here?" She asked. I just rolled my eyes as she asked that. "I'm Ivy and I'm here because they are my friends and friends hang out with friends." I said. "I see. Im Lana. I'm here with James." She said with a smile. I think she was trying to annoy me or something. "Good for you. James is my friend so don't think there's more between us." I said. Lana just busted out laughing after I said that. I wasn't sure why either.

           Cam just looked over at her like wtf are you doing. I think he could sense something was going on. He looked at James and said something and James just laughed.  Then he yelled out " DO I SMELL DRAMA!!!!! LET THERE BE DRAMA! I'LL GET THE POOL FILLED WITH JELLO!" he yelled. Lana just smiled and  I rolled my eyes and gave James the middle finger. He flipped me off back. I heard Lana Sigh. "That was just seriously like rude of you to flip James off." She whined. I Just looked at her with the like I care look. I got up and walked away from her. "DONT YOU WALK AWAY! THAT IS RUDE!" She yelled. I suddenly felt hands grabbing my hair. I got away and turned around. Lana suddenly punched me!

                         "THE FUCK IS WRONG WITH YOU?!?"I yell. She punches me again right in my face. I fight back and punch her back. All of a sudden she knocks me to the ground hitting me. I start fighting back. Shes pulling my hair. " SOMEONE NEEDS TO TEACH YOU MANNERS!" She screamed. James and Cam ran over and pulled Lana off of me. "Cam, get her inside and check her over." James said. He turned around and looked at Lana. "What the fuck is wrong with you?!?"He said. "She walked away while I was talking to her. That's rude."She said. James rolled his eyes, "That's not an excuse to flip your fucking switch and start beating her up." He said.

                    I could hear James and Lana fighting. I am sitting inside shaking, memories of my past coming back to haunt me. I didn't fight back the way I should have because it caught me by surprise and scared me so much that I just couldn't. I know I got some good  punches in. I knew I couldn't drive. I know Sin lived close so I sent him a text to come and get me. Cam sat down by me. "I'm sorry this happened. I honestly didn't think she was gonna do that." He said softly. The tears came rushing down my face. "It's not your fault this happened. "I said softly. He just looked at me with concern."Youre shaking. Does this bring back bad memories?" He asked. I just nod my head. We sit there in silence until Sin gets here to get me.
