Klaus moved around Alaric's apartment, opening the closet and picking out two shirts, Katherine forced to watch from the chair she was tied too. He'd captured Ric, captured her, compelled Isobel to kill herself, and none of the Mystic Falls gang had the faintest idea about the situation. While she'd been sat there, she'd noticed all the books Klaus's witches had found about the place, but she couldn't see what any of them said.

"Oh! Who is this guy?" Klaus held up one of the shirts to show it to her, making a face, "Safari Sam?"

He pulled out another.

"Okay; bad?" He lifted the second, "Or badder?"

"The dark colours suit you better," Katherine answered.

"Oh, thank you, honey," He replied sarcastically, "Pop quiz. The dagger and white ash are in the Salvatores' possession, correct?"

"The dagger was used to kill Elijah," She nodded, "You'll find him in the basement of the Salvatore house."

"Okay," He grinned, "That dagger needs to stay exactly where it is. The last thing I need to do is resurrect Elijah – That guy is a buzzkill."

"Don't forget you're on the outs with your girlfriend, Jenna."

There was no point trying to hide anything mundane from him.

"Right," He tapped his hands together, "Elena's aunt. For all the lies about Isobel. What else?"

"That's it."

He leant forward to run his fingers over her face, enjoying the fear radiating off her, "So jumpy."

"Please, just," Her voice was scratchy, "Kill me. I've told you everything I know."

He moved his hands down to the armrests on the chair.

She swallowed nervously.

"You see, I believe that you believe that," He kept an intense level of eye contact with her, "But what would you not know? What could they be keeping from you? Hmm? Anything?"

Her mouth stayed shut.

"Tell me."

The compulsion kicked in.

"They were trying to see if Bonnie could find a way to kill an Original without a dagger."

"The best friend Bonnie?" Klaus faltered, "I thought you said she didn't have her powers anymore."

"She doesn't," Katherine tried to backtrack, "Or didn't. I don't know. You kidnapped me, remember? I'm kinda out of the loop."

"Well, we'll have to get to the bottom of that."

"Please, just kill me, Klaus, and be done with it."

"And show you kindness?" He mocked, "I've searched for you for over 500 years. Your death is going to last at least half that long."

He stood up straight.

"That other witch you mentioned, could it be possible the Bennet witch had a spell and is now training her friend to perform it?"

"Mira teaches Bonnie, not the other way around," Katherine summed up, "She's the one who figured everything out."

"Is that all?"
