"Bam, Youngjae's coming over soon!" Yugyeom announced as he quickly made up his bed, briefly checking the digital clock that sat on his desk as he tugged at the messy sheets.
BamBam, laid on his own bed while scrolling through social media, sighed with the shake of his head. "I don't care Gyeom. You and him are weird."
The younger paused, spinning around with his jaw hung open. "Weird!?"
The elder set down his phone, looking up at his conflicted roommate. "Kissing isn't allowed, and you're a student leader. What kind of example does that set for me?"
"I know, I already feel bad!" Yugyeom whined. He looked down at his chest where a golden badge with 'S.L.' written in bold authoritative letters and Yugyeom's full name in a smaller print at the bottom was pinned to his light sweater. He was required to wear the badge not only as identification, but as an honor for his good deeds. He had always been the 'good' kid, which is why he'd been so excited to become a student leader and help others stay on the right path throughout their years of schooling. All of his energy spent on keeping up his work and behavior, only to weakly succumb to the temptations of a certain upperclassman's pair of lips.
He wore a disappointing pout as he gripped the shiny badge and unpinned it from his clothes. "I don't deserve the stupid badge."
He threw it to the floor, then turned to his bed and flopped his long body onto the mattress, burying his face into his pillows.
BamBam instantly felt bad. He knew how sensitive the younger was, and also knew how seriously he took being a good role model; the last thing he should've done was criticize his actions; he was human too. "No... Gyeom I'm sorry, put it back on."
"I don't deserve it!" A muffled voice from across the room yelled.
BamBam lifted himself off of his own bed, walking over to retrieve the discarded badge. He set it down beside Yugyeom on the bed for him to put back on later. "You deserve it; you're the most well behaved guy I know, and a great leader for other students. So you broke the rules once... or technically multiple times since you've invited Youngjae back over..."
"Doesn't mean we'll kiss!" Yugyeom whined, finally lifting his head from his pillows.
BamBam hummed, raising a brow. "But that's what you're hoping for, isn't it."
"I..." The younger male trailed off. He physically didn't have the capacity to lie, so of course he couldn't deny that a large part of him wanted Youngjae to kiss him just as he did the other day. "...Look, when I confronted him about it, he said he liked it and wanted to try it again! How could I say no to that?"
"Just say no." The elder answered flatly.
Yugyeom scoffed, dropping his now pink face into his pillows again. "I thought you were trying to make me feel better, not worse!"
"I am, I am, sorry." BamBam reached out and gently rubbed the younger's back to soothe him. "I bet a bunch of guys do it so, no big deal."
"I guess..." Yugyeom sighed as he relaxed slightly under BamBam's touch. No matter what, even if they didn't always see eye-to-eye, they knew how to make one another feel better. Yugyeom finally sat up, his shy gaze meeting BamBam's. "...do you have lip balm?"
BamBam scoffed. "Lip balm? Seriously?"
"Would you want to kiss my dry ass lips!?" Yugyeom retorted.
The question was answered with silence as BamBam's gaze dropped to Yugyeom's lips. He stared for a good few seconds, but before a reply could formulate, there was a knock at the door.
