Jinyoung took in a large breath as he stood before Jaebum's door. He chewed on his lip, looking down at himself one last time to make sure he looked alright. He had the opportunity to run away and just forget about studying biology with the guy who made him feel all types of ways; but he was already this far in, there was no point in chickening out now.

He secured his bag up on his shoulder that was filled with a biology textbook, notes, and assignments; raising his knuckles to the wooden surface and tapping a few times. He wondered if Jaebum had even remembered their scheduled study session as his heart pounded rapidly against his rib cage, the waiting being the worst part of it all.

Jaebum didn't have him waiting long though; he must've been standing nearby the door or something. Jinyoung glanced up at the face that peeked through the crack and greeted him with a smile. Jaebum's eyes seemed to sparkle when they set their gaze upon Jinyoung, or maybe he was just imagining it.

"Hey, you're here." The elder announced, opening the door wider. Jinyoung's eyes flashed down briefly to the t-shirt and sweatpants Jaebum wore.

Now he felt kind of silly freshening himself up when Jaebum was greeting him so casually.

"Y-Yeah. Hi." Jinyoung greeted, giving a tiny pathetic wave that went away as fast as it came.

"Come on in." Jaebum gestured for Jinyoung to enter, watching as the younger did so. He shut the door behind him, resting his hands on his hips while Jinyoung stood awkwardly in the middle of his dorm. "I kicked Mark out just for your comfort, he's not coming back for a few hours so it's just me and you."

Jinyoung looked around, noticing Mark's belongings scattered across the room. He forgot that they were roommates, and the fact that Jaebum had gotten rid of his presence just so they could be alone in the room uninterrupted made him even more nervous being there.

"Drop your bag by the door and make yourself comfortable at the table." Jaebum pointed over at the coffee table pressed up against the wall next to what looked like his bed.

"Oh, sure." Jinyoung followed directions as he was told, while Jaebum went over to his own bag to pull out study material. He sat himself on the floor, unzipping his bag to set his books out on the low wooden table that also held a cup of coffee with Jaebum's name written on it.

It felt weird being in a different dorm room, Jinyoung rarely visited others much. Especially in Jaebum's dorm room, where it all smelled like him and the decorations felt like him (granted a bit of Mark was there too considering they shared the room), it was odd to be totally engulfed by everything Jaebum.

Jinyoung jolted as a heavy textbook was dropped onto the table, with Jaebum soon following and seating himself right beside him on the floor.

He flipped open the pages to the chapter that they had been learning in class, turning his attention to Jinyoung who sat like a frozen block of ice. "So, we should review plant cells, since I think you have trouble remembering the different parts of them. Got a pencil?"

"Oh sorry, yeah, in my bag-" Jinyoung bolted up to fetch his materials, silently scolding himself for being such an idiot to forget something as simple as a pencil. He wasn't usually this nervous or messy about anything, but having Jaebum just inches away from him in such a domestic setting had his senses all shaken up.

So much so that he was even careless with his body parts; as he stood he recklessly bashed his leg against the table, causing it to jerk against the wall. The force caused the barely sipped drink to topple over, not just onto the floor, but most of its contents ended up all over Jaebum. His shirt was spattered with coffee, along with his pants, both ruined due to Jinyoung's unusual clumsiness.
