"Don't stand over there, join me." Jaebum stated as Jinyoung awkwardly approached the couch. The elder had the TV remote already in hand, Netflix booted up and waiting for them to select a show.

Jinyoung slowly made his way over, lowering himself down onto the cushion farthest away from Jaebum.

The elder looked over and frowned at the distance between them. "Do I smell bad or something? Get closer."

It was the opposite. He smelled way too good after coming from a shower to sit so close. Jinyoung was worried he might pass out from the wondrous scent.

"I'm not gonna sit on top of you..." Jinyoung grumbled in an effort to make a joke and keep his sanity as he scooted closer.

Jaebum chuckled lightly, shrugging in response. "I wouldn't mind if you did."

Jinyoung's head whipped around toward him, his jaw falling open. His mind instantly took it as playful flirting, which had his throat drying out. He didn't know how to respond to statements like that, especially when caught totally off guard by it. "I-It was a joke..."

The elder hummed, focusing back on choosing a movie. "I know. I was joking too."

Jinyoung swallowed hard. Jaebum had to be doing this on purpose. He couldn't be thinking of everything with an impure mindset; it was Jaebum himself who set that implication. At least JInyoung wanted to believe that, but a part of him was questioning himself; was he just a dirty pig when it came to Jaebum? He didn't want to believe it if that were true; he came over to this dorm with the pure intentions of studying, it was Jaebum who turned it into something else.

But the elder didn't seem to have ulterior motives either. Maybe it really was just Jinyoung's dirty mind taking it too far. All they were doing was watching a movie anyway, there was no reason to get worked up about the random lines that spewed from Jaebum's mouth, it all meant nothing. And so did the feelings he harbored for Jaebum too, meaningless.

Tiny crush, he reminded himself. Nothing big, just a tiny crush that he should ignore for the remainder of the night. Or the remainder of his life. Whichever one ended first.

"Here let's watch this. Should be fun." Jaebum interrupted Jinyoung's thoughts as he selected a movie, pressing play and dimming the lights for a nice viewing experience.

He didn't know why, but Jinyoung felt his lips trembling as if he wanted to smile the entire time, but fought it off. Being so casual with Jaebum, just sitting comfortably and watching a movie together, it really felt nice. He's avoided times like this so much, mostly due to him hating how shaken up he felt every time he was around the elder. Jinyoung often avoided situations that jumbled  his emotions, yet it was actually calming to just sit back and... chill. He didn't know him and Jaebum could have such a nice vibe.

That lasted up until the point when Jaebum wrapped his arm around Jinyoung.

The latter hadn't expected the gesture at all. He only felt a bit of movement on the couch, and in a split second he was in Jaebum's arms. He naturally tensed, fist clenching on his knees as he tried his hardest to be still. For some reason, he felt like moving any part of his body would ruin the moment. It was confusing though, Jinyoung always tried not to be the touchy type. He often shied away from hugs or somehow avoided any situation where he had to touch another human being. Yet there he was, Jaebum pulling him against his chest with one arm, and he wasn't fighting it. He didn't want to fight it.

He refused to admit it but, in the back of his mind, he knew he liked it.

There was no word more fitting than the word nice. It was scarily relaxing to be held like that, and the few times Jaebum mindlessly rubbed his shoulder with his thumb sent goosebumps across Jinyoung's skin.
