A new beginning?

Aurora's POV

I was still at the end of Jack's bed waiting for his response. 'So? why didn't you text me that you were going to apologize to me?' i asked again as he kept his silence. 'I don't know rora, i thought that if i would text you that i'm sorry you wouldn't believe me or think i didn't dare to tell you face to face.' he said and it made me realize that he  was right, i would think that he didn't have the nerve to apologize to my face. 'Hmm, yeah that might be true but you could've still asked if you could come over. But even that you didn't do you acted like a lost puppy being rude to the rest of the guys probably like always.' i said as i looked at him as he realized i knew him better than he thought. 

'Did Johnson tell you that?' he asked while he looked at me for the first time since i've been sitting here. 'No Johnson doesn't have to tell me that i know how you act when you get your pride hurt.' i laughed a little as he looked at me with a shocked expression. 'Don't look so shocked you know damn well that it's the truth.' i said as i walked around the room over to the big mirror to look at all the polaroids he put up. 

I looked at all the pictures and noticed one that looked very familiar to me. It was a picture we took before he left for his own tour with the sticker 'my baby' on it. 'Why do you still have this hanging up?' i asked as i pointed towards the picture. He stood up and came over to me as he looked at the picture up close. 'Cause no matter what happens or where we are together or away from each other you'll always be my baby.' he said as he smiled at me thru the mirror. 

I couldn't help but smile at his cheesy response, I turned to look at him and see that his eyes looked like he hadn't slept in days. 'When is the last time you actually had a decent amount of sleep?' i said as i looked him in the eyes seeing he turned his eyes away from me. 'Honestly? I have truly no idea. Maybe a couple of days or a week.' he said as he looked everywhere but at my eyes. '

'You are going to take a huge nap right now and you can't tell me no.' i said as i closed his curtains and made him lay in his bed. 'Will you stay with me?' he asked as he took off his shirt and waited for my answer. I got starstruck at him taking off his shirt. 'Are you just gonna stare at me?' he said as he looked at me.

'I uhm I'll stay but you gotta sleep now.' i said as i sat next to him on his bed as he layed down on my lap while i stroked his hair. I got my phone out of my pocket as i felt his breathing slow down. I opened twitter and scrolled thru the thousands of tweets as one caught my attention. 

'Breaking News: Aurora Espinosa seen entering the building of the magcon boys.' 

I opened the link to the website that wrote the article and started reading it. Normally i wouldn't read things like this and just ignore it but i found it pretty funny that they assume things that aren't even true and how fast they are to upload this while i haven't even been here for a couple of hours. I decided to retweet this and reply to it myself before any other rumors where about to start.

I pressed the blue button and looked at Jack peacefully i moved his head carefully to the side and got up from his bed walking to find the other guys. I checked the mutual room but no one was there, the rehearsal room no one until i got the idea they could be at the roof since Cam told me they love to chill there and escape reality for a little. 

I walked up the stairs to the roof and opened the door seeing them all sit on the beanbags and couch, it looked like a really nice place to chill and indeed escape the world a little. I closed the door and walked over to them as they all started greeting me. 

'How's Jack doing after the talk you guys had?' Johnson instantly asked me. 'He's sleeping now cus he looked like he had been awake for the past couple of months.' i replied as i smiled before i looked at my phone as i felt it buzz. It were notifications of my tweet i just posted. 'The tweet is coming in hard to the people Ror.' I heard Carter say as i took a seat next to him on the bean bag. 'Well they shouldn't make up rumors if they have no idea what the actual truth is.' I said as i looked at him

'Alright change of topic, how are you all doing?' i asked in an attempt to change the topic to something else then the recent tweet. They all started to tell me what had been going on in their lives as i haven't been here. I do have contact with them over text and facetime but seeing them in person and hearing them tell me instead of me reading their texts and trying to figure out what has been going on is still different.
