Hiccup

It was late....well early. Astrid was sound asleep on my shoulder with a blanket of mine wrapped around her.

Not even sleep can strip her of her beauty.

I was planning to just carry her to one of the rooms I had, but I knew the stories people would come up with if they saw her walk out of here in the morning.

If anyone thought that we had sex she could be stripped of her Warrior title and her right to teach the Little Warriors taken away.  I couldn't let that happen. So I carried her home and set her comfortably in her bed. I decided to let her keep my blanket. I liked the idea of Astrid having something of mine with her when she slept.

Astrid was withing for me at my door, first thing that morning.

"Top of the morning Astrid." I greet, trying to hide my exhaustion.

"Hey, you forgot your blanket at my house." She didn't have the blanket in her hands ready to offer back to me, so I automatically knew that she wasn't planning on giving it back.

   I chuckled, " You don't say?"

"You can't leave something of yours at my house and expect me to give it back." She says with a smirk.

"I don't expect you to give it back."

She opened her mouth to give a cheeky reply, but was cut off.

"Hiccup Haddock, Astrid Hofferson." Greets a man with black hair, shaved face, light green eyes, wearing a large sort of dress that went to the ground, and small shoes that were not ideal for the conditions at Berk.

"Can I help you?" I ask, as Astrid stands directly next to me, ready for any move this stranger may try to pull.

"My name is Oliver Raymond. I'm from the Southern Isles. I was invited here for a week by Cheif Stoick the Vast to help plan your wedding."

"Already?" I could see the panick rising on Astrid's face. She already had so much on her shoulders, this was just another thing to pile on.

"Yes, your wedding is in a month dear. I should've been asked here sooner. Anyway, time is of the essence. We will plan something everyday this week so it won't be too overwhelming for the both of you. Especially because I know how busy the both of you are."

I laced my fingers with Astrid's as a silent sign of support. Her anxiety had been chronic these past years and I didn't want her to feel alone.

"Aww look how cute the you are!" Oliver notices, "Now, today you will be picking the place you want your wedding to take place. Any ideas?"

This was easy for me, everytime I imagined the wedding it was always in the same place. Where I first kissed Astrid. Where I first met Toothless. Where I first found myself.

"The cove." We both say in unison.

I couldn't help the smile spreading across my face. She was thinking the same thing I was. It wasn't something we needed to talk about or negotiate with.

"Wow, you two clearly have the same idea. I like that, it makes my job easier. However, I have no idea what or where the cove is."

We lead Oliver to the cove and told him the sentiment behind it. He drew the cove in a notebook he had while Astrid and I walked around trying to imagine how we wanted everything set up.

We decided that we were going to get married in front of the large tree, horizontal to the lake.

Oliver was drawing the scene when there was a loud snap in the forest.
