Twenty

It had been 9 years since Sora left Korea and took a piece of my heart with her.

I was now 24 years old or what some people may say; an adult.

I still worked at the amusement park.

And I was still a mascot.

Taehyung and I are very good friends now. We both grew very close with one another. He was one of the reasons why I didn't turn out to be depressed.

He kept on telling me how I was so handsome and cute that if I were to even breathe next to a girl they'd fall for me.

I hope Sora feels the same way for me as well.

I don't know at what extent it was true but I did have a lot of girls ask me to open the head of my costume just so they could take a picture of me and some even asked for my number.

I always declined, explaining how I already had someone in my life.

"Bro, how long are you gonna keep rejecting them?" Taehyung asked while we were on our break.

"Who?" I asked, sipping on my banana milk.

"The cute girls who ask for your number and want to take pictures with you." He said and rested his head on the palm of his hand.

"I'm not interested in them." I replied shortly and tore a packet of gummy bears.

"What's your type then?"

"I don't have a type. I only have feelings for Sora."

"You've been talking about her since I met you, is she really that important to you?"

I inhaled and closed my eyes. "Yes, she's really important to me. She showed me the true meaning of life, she spent time with me when no one else did, she was there for me when no one was. She filled the sadness in my heart and made me feel loved and wanted." I explained and opened my eyes, only to see Taehyung teary.

"Omg I think I'm in love with you. I never knew you could say such deep things, man." He said and slapped my back making me spit my banana milk.

"What the– Hey, you'll have to clean this mess up!" I shouted and chased after him as he ran out of the staff room.

Sora, I can't wait for you to see the changes in my life.
