The week seemed so long.
When it was finally Thursday, I let out a load groan.
Ayesha kept on chanting 'Guess what it is tommorow! Guess what it is tomorrow!' As if I had forgotten what it actually was tomorrow.
'So,um, you know the party?' Connie said half way through the day.
'What about it?' I answered
Connie let out a nervous laugh. 'Well I .. Kind of... Sort of...' She stopped to check my reaction then carried on 'invited... Claude...' She added another nervous laugh at the end.
'WHAT! WHY?' I yelled.
'I was only being nice and anyway, I doubt he'll even show up,' she said, trying to calm me down.
'You're right' I breathed,'you're.. right,'
* Time skip to Friday morning *
I woke up and got ready to go to college.
When I opened the door, there was a small box wrapped in purple gift wrap on the door step.
I picked it up and opened it only to find a smaller box inside.
I opened this one too and to my surprise, out sprung several plastic snakes.
I let out a girlish squeal of shock.
This 'present' is from Claude.
When I got to school, Connie, Ayesha and some other girls I was acquainted to were waiting for me there, holding numerous gift bags.
Connie had gotten me one of those Pandora charm bracelets. I accepted it with delight and wore it.
Ayesha had gotten me a small bottle of Dior perfume. 'I hope you like it' she said.
'Of course I do!' I replied, giving her a hug.
The rest of the presents were chocolates and birthday teddies.
After class, Ayesha, Connie and I headed to McDonalds.
Connie insisted we take a bunch of selfies there. I nicely agreed to her even if I hated taking selfies.
'I'm looking forward to the party!' Exclaimed Ayesha after me finished our meal.
'Me too' I stuttered, heading to my flat to get ready for the...party.
