I had to wake up early to catch a train to where the Helstons lives.

It was so cold outside, I regretted coming early to the station and having to wait an hour in this icy weather.

The train journey was a good two hours and when I arrived, it was already midday.

I strolled around the town to see if I could buy any gifts for them.

I had bought a nice looking earring set for Mrs Helston and a couple of multi colored ties for Mr Helston.

I even bought some wrapping paper, to wrap them up when I got to their house.

Then a thought occurred to me. Should I buy Claude a gift too?

I touched the necklace I was wearing. He did buy me a birthday present, a proper one this time.

I might as well buy him one and give it to him when I get back to the apartment in January (next month).

I looked around the store I was in. What would he want?

A book, a mug, some clothes?

Maybe I should buy him a t shirt?

I checked the t shirt section, looking for a decent t shirt to buy.

I combed through the shelves but nothing seemed good.

Then suddenly, I found this black hoodie on display. I checked the holders for his size and luckily, found one.

I bought it, and left for the Helstons' house.

Midday had turned to evening by the time I had arrived.

I knocked on the door and was greeted by none other than Mrs Helston.

She was a middle aged woman, however looked young for her age. She had the same blonde hair and blue eyes as her son and was of moderate height and extremely curvy. I was surprised she still had all those curves still in the right places. She only looked a few years older than me despite her actual age.

When I got in, I saw that the Christmas decorations were already up.

Mr Helston was putting up the last finishing touches to the Christmas tree. He too, looked young for his age and resembled Claude very much except he had gray eyes instead of blue.

The smell of cookies was wafting through the house, which made me hungry.

I walked up the stairs to my room.

It used to be the guest room before I lived here.

I went in. It looked exactly as I had left it.

The walls were painted a light lavender colour and hanging from the ceiling was s tiny glass chandelier.

There were a small collection of lava lamps on the window sill. A long line of fairy lights were dangling around the perimeter of my room.

I was 19 but my bedroom made it looked like I was 6.

I changed into a pair of comfy jeans and a red Christmas jumper. T'is the season I laughed to myself.

I walked down the stairs. Mrs Helston was holding out a tray of freshly made cookies shaped like snowmen.

They were frosted with white icing and had cute little gumdrop buttons.

I took one and nibbled on the poor snowman's head.
