This chapter may be a bit gory but not that much though.

My mind raced through all the possibilities. Why I was thinking like this, I had no idea.

I found a glass standing by itself on the table.

Perfect.

I reached out and held the glass in my hand, the smooth cold surface rubbed against my skin.

I dropped it on the floor; the fragile object broke into several pieces as it clashed to the ground. Hopefully, no one had heard the noise of the shattering glass.

I picked up a few shards from the ground, accidentally cutting my palm in the process. The cut tingled.

Pain felt so different now.

It almost felt good.

I walked towards the cupboard and opened it with my free hand, retrieving a mug and placing the shards in it.

Then, I filled the mug with water.

If I drank it, the sharp pieces of glass would cut my throat from the inside and I'd die of internal bleeding.

I shut my eyes  and moved the mug closer to my lips.

Just gulp it down. You want to die, don't you? Just gulp it down!

I froze in place with my eyes still closed, and my sanity returned to me.

I thought it over and it soon faded away again.

My teeth clenched down to the rim of the mug. I lifted my head a bit higher, slowly opening my mouth to let the 'water' in.

Suddenly, the mug was pushed out of my hands.

I opened my eyes.

It was dark but I could clearly make out who it was. Claude.

'WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING?!' he yelled at me.

'Dying,' I replied giving him a little push 'Now leave me alone,'

He grabbed my arm and pressed it to my back so that my wrist touched my shoulder blade.

'Don't be such an idiot,' he snapped, softening his tone a little 'You know you can't kill yourself.'

'Its worth trying,' I spat back.

He slapped my cheek.

'Ow,' I exclaimed, rubbing my cheek 'You can't hit a girl!'

'Well I just did,' he replied, reaching out for my hand and examining my cut.

He pulled me to the cupboard, trying to find a first aid kit.

'Seriously, you're such a baby,' he muttered under his breath as he wrapped a bandaid around my injured palm.

'You can't look after yourself for one minute can you, stupid?' He finished wrapping my hand.

I glared at him.

Who was he to boss me around?!

'Go to sleep now,' he said firmly, pointing up the stairs.

'No,' I replied 'I'm not tired,' I say crossing my arms. I won't let him boss me around.

He lifted me by the waist, forcefully carrying me upstairs.

'Let go you jerk!' I yelled, pulling at his blonde hair.

'Shh, you'll wake everyone,' he whispered back feircly and put his hand over my mouth until we finally made it to the door of the guestroom.

We entered the empty room.

Claude sat on the 'bed' I had made on the floor earlier.

'You can sleep on the bed,' he stated, wrapping the blanket around himself.

I lied down on the real bed, hoping that this time I'd fall asleep.

Claude's POV

Within five minutes, Raven had already fallen asleep. She started to quietly snore after a while too.

I don't know why but she sounded adorable while she was snoring.

I closed my eyes trying to suppress all the memories of today but all in could see in my mind was Raven.

Scoffing, I got up and washed my face in the bathroom.

For a second, I thought I saw Raven in the mirror.

Please tell me I'm not falling for her.
