Was I really a demon? Was Claude really telling the truth? I had to believe him, I had to trust him. There was no other possible answer.

I woke up. I was in a bed?!

I looked around. Claude was sitting at the foot of the bed, staring down at me.

'Where am I?' I yawned.

'My apartment.' He replied.

'What, how?'

'I carried you here,' he sighed 'you're actually heavier than you look.'

I took another look around. It was Claude's bedroom.

'Why didn't you just wake me up and drop me at my apartment?'

'You were sound asleep and I didn't want to disturb you.'

This wasn't like Claude at all.

'Plus I didn't have your keys either.' He added.

'They were in the front of my suitcase.'

'I can't just rummage through a woman's suitcase.'

Okay, this was definitely not like Claude.

'I'm making us some breakfast,' he told me.

He left the room.

I finally got out of bed and walked to the mirror.

I checked my reflection. Everything seemed normal, no new weird features or little devil horns.

Although my skin did look a bit paler.

I searched for my phone and finally found it.

No messages no miss calls. Nothing.

I had to call Allen and tell him the truth. Maybe he'd understand.

'Pick up, pick up,' I mumbled nervously.

He finally picked up on the other end.

'Hi Allen its me Raven, please don't hang up,' I said quickly.

'Hey Raven,' he said

'I'm back in town and I need to see you again.'

'Where should we meet, then?' He asked 'I need to talk to you too.'

I thought for a minute. 'How about the park?'

'Alright,' he said and hung up.

I got out of the room. I could hear noises in the kitchen. Claude must be making breakfast.

I sat on the small dinning table.

Claude had reappeared, carrying two plates of food.

'Here you go,' he said, handing a plate to me. I looked at it. An omlette

'I haven't poisoned it,' he told me.

I slowly took a bite. It tasted amazing!

I took another bite and another and another until the whole omelette was finished.

'How does it taste?' He asked me.

'Amazing!' My eyes lit as I gobbled up the last spoonful.

I checked his plate, he had barely touched it.

'Aren't you going to eat?' I asked him.

'I'm not hungry.' He replied.

I took my plate to the sink and washed it.

'I'm going out,' I told Claude.

'If you're going to see Allen you better not tell him,' he replied seriously.

'I won't,' I said 'I'm not that stupid.'

'I wouldn't count on it,' he teased. I shoved him lightly on the shoulder.

I left the flat and headed for the park.

There was still snow everywhere, a thick layer in fact. I walked there carefully so I wouldn't slip on the ice.

I sat on the same bench, waiting for him.

Was Allen even going to show up?

Luckily, after five minutes, he came.

My eyes lit up as walked towards me.

'Allen!' I exclaimed, wanting to give him a big and long hug.

'Hi,' he said.

I looked down, remembering what had happened the last lime I had spoken with him.

'Look, Allen, what Claude was saying wasn't true. We never kissed, I swear.' I lied but tried to sound as honest as possible.

'I believe you,' he replied.

'Really?'

He leaned down and kissed me on my lips.

It didn't feel right though. I didn't feel the same fluttering in my stomach and my heart didn't race. It felt nearly normal.

I looked up to his face.

He ran his hand through my hair.

'I love you, Raven,' he whispered softly into my ear. 'I love you so much,'

I wanted to tell him. I wanted to tell him so badly, what I was or am. He would understand, wouldn't he?
