I was still stiff. With fear? I didn't know.
It felt horrible and I wanted to throw up.
I heard rushed footsteps coming from behind me. Was it the police?
The person behind me grabbed my wrist and pulled at me but I didn't move; I was still in the trauma of my own actions.
I heard muffled noises calling my name.
The person waved at my face and suddenly I snapped from my trance.
'We have to go now, Raven!' Claude yelled at me.
He pulled me down the road, running.
There was no one in the streets and it was too dark to see.
He opened the door of our flat, ran up the stairs dragging me with him. He got into his apartment and pushed me in too.
'What the hell did you just do,' he shouted at me, slamming the door.
I didn't answer him. I couldn't.
We stared at each other in silence, the atmosphere was tense.
Claude started to walk back and forth, hand on his head, muttering to himself.
I looked at his face. He was as worried as I was.
He finally stopped at me.
'You need to take a bath,' he told me 'You're covered in his blood.'
I didn't move.
He tutted, holding my arm and taking me to the bathroom himself.
'Take a bath,' he repeated again slowly.
Yet again, I didn't move.
Images of what had just happened moments before were still wizxing through my head. I was a murder. I was a monster.
Claude walked into the bathroom, turning on the hot water in the tub.
He stood behind me, unzipping the back of my blood covered dress. With his hands, he gently removed it.
I stood in my undergarments, staring at the tub that was nearly full.
He held me by the waist, lifting me into the tube.
I screamed 'THE WATER'S HOT!'
'So you're finally awake,' he said.
I attempted to get out of the boiling bath.
'Don't,' he said, holding me back in 'You need a bath, you smell like death.'
Claude started to shampoo my hair.
'I can do it myself!' I yelled back, pushing his arms away.
'Whatever,' i heard him mutter as he continued.
He started to scrub my arms and legs, too.
'I'm not a child,' I murmured as he used the shower head to wash the soap off of me.
After the awkward bath, he handed me a towel and some new clothes.
They were his clothes.
'I'm not wearing that,' I complained, wrapping myself with the towel.
He raised an eyebrow. 'Yes you are,'
I snatched it off him and pointed to the door.
'Leave,' I said.
He shook his head. 'No,' he replied.
I rolled my eyes.
Then I twiddled my finger in a circle 'Fine then turn around,' I glared at him making sure I did so.
He followed my order, turned around and faced the wall.
When I thought it was safe enough to, I began to remove my soggy underwear and bra.
'Don't you dare turn around,' I said, making sure he was still facing the wall.
I wore the t shirt he had given me. It was old and hadn't been ironed. It was also baggy so you couldn't tell that I wasn't wearing a bra underneath.
'Where are the pants?' I asked looking around the bathroom floor.
'It's the black boxers,' Claude started, still facing the wall.
'Ew, I'm not wearing your underwear.' I spat
'Its new; I haven't worn it,' he replied.
'But its for guys,'
He shrugged his shoulders.
I finally gave in and wore them.
The baggy t shirt covered the boxers, making it look like I was wearing a little dress.
I left the bathroom, followed by Claude.
I sat on the sofa, staring at the black TV screen.
Claude sat beside me.
'We have to leave in the morning,' he finally said. 'I already packed our bags. Somehow I knew this was going to happen.'
I looked at him. 'Why didn't you stop me from killing him?!' I shouted
'I wanted to see if you could kill him,' he replied 'He was a demon hunter anyway. He's better off dead.'
I felt water escape from my eyes.
Claude reached out and wiped them off. 'What you did was the right thing.'
'B-but I killed him,'
'He could have killed you.'
He looked away. 'Although, my mom and dad aren't going to be too happy. They wanted me to keep an eye on you and make sure you didn't do anything stupid. So I guess we're both in deep trouble.'
I started to cry even more.
'W-what if I get caught,' I whimper, 'What if the police get me?'
There was a long silence.
'You sleep in my room tonight and I'll sleep on the sofa,' Claude finally said.
I did as he said, getting up and walking to his room.
'Goodnight,' He called at me, laying flat on his sofa.
'Goodnight,' I whispered back , closing the door behind me and falling asleep on his bed.
(A/N Yep, it had to be murder. I don't know why but there always has to be someone dying in my stories and Allen was the perfect candidate *evil laugh*)
