Needless to say, things were not easy for Sam and Luke. At first they were and they managed to go an entire month without a fight. And their first fight after a month, was ugly. It ended with Sam storming off and telling Luke to go to hell, and Luke went after her and kissed her even though she was mad.

Luke took Sam on tour with him. At first the idea sounded amazing, because it meant that she'd get to see Luke do what he loved all the time. But she grew tired of constantly moving from hotel room to hotel room, being in the bus for hours and really, she just missed home. That didn't mean that she didn't like going on tour with Luke and the rest of the boys, because she did love it, and most of the fans were nice to her.

Of course, it had its downs and they were not very pretty. Like the time they were leaving the airport in Seattle. Things were going fine, even if they were getting mobbed by fans and the paparazzi. Sam had grown used to it. So things were going fine, until someone grabbed at Sam and nearly knocked her over. She didn't make a big deal of it, because to her it really wasn't.

When they got into the car, Sam felt a stinging on the side of her neck. She figured it was just a scratch and she reached up to touch the skin there. She hadn't even noticed, but the necklace Luke had given her a year ago for her birthday was gone. She felt around her neck, trying to call for Luke, but nothing came out. Luke had thought that she was having a panic attack, but when he looked over at her and saw that she was desperately grabbing her neck, he knew why she had become so upset.

When their eyes met, Sam burst into tears and Luke automatically reached for her. He promised that he'd buy her a new one, but Sam didn't want that because he'd "only be buying it because someone took it." Luke was frustrated because he didn't know how to fix it.

They made it to their hotel and Sam apologized for crying so much. Luke reached for his own necklace, one he had owned for as long as he could remember, and fastened it around Sam's neck. She pouted as he kissed her nose and told her to keep it under her shirt.

So eventually Sam got over the necklace incident that night, but she was still very upset they she no longer had it.

Then there was the time when they all decided to go clubbing in Vegas. The night started off as usual. Michael had too much tequila and he was passed out on their booth, which meant their body guards were mostly looking after him.

This meant everyone else went crazy. Calum got so drunk he didn't remember pole dancing on stage and doing body shots off multiple random girls. He had no memory of his pole dancing experience until Ashton showed him videos and photos. Ashton danced all night and at one point spilled his drink all over the dance floor. He kissed two girls that night. At the same time.

And Sam drank more than usual, but Luke didn't mind because he liked drunk Sam a lot. Especially in bed, but that wasn't the point.

So things were going good and everyone was having a good time. Luke was the only sober one that night, but he didn't care. He was too busy looking after Sam, who was dancing by herself on the dance floor. Usually Luke would dance with her, but only when he was very drunk because Luke hated to dance.

As Luke watched her, he noticed a guy going up to her. He didn't get mad----alright, he got a little mad--but he knew Sam was capable of taking care of herself. It wasn't the first time a guy had gone up to her and she'd tell them to fuck off if they got too flirty for her liking.

However, this was different, because Luke noticed that this guy--let's call him Bill--was a bit persistent and when Bill laid his hands on Sam and she hadn't seem to like that, Luke got up. Sam looked panicked when Luke got to her side and Bill said something Luke didn't like very much. And like the jealous and protective boyfriend that he was, he punched Bill in the face when he decided to push Luke. Bill ended up on the floor, knocked out cold.
