Rainbowdash launched herself into bed. Today had been a long, tiring day of school. Setting up her alarm for the next morning, she tucked herself into bed. "Aaah, its real cozy in here. Love this new blanket Mom gave me!" she spoke to herself.
At home, all the attention was focused on her. Dash was an only child, and she had amazing, over supportive parents, whom she treasures very much. She flipped her position to face the window and looked up at the starry night sky. The trees were dancing around in the wind, waving their branches at the girl, immersed in her own world. The moon hung high up in the sky, almost covered by a blanket of clouds.
The night was beautiful, the stars were shining, filled with life and magic. Just like AJ's, she thought.
Dash froze at the thought.
She flipped her position once more and tossed her blanket over her head, hiding herself from the world. She begun talking to herself.
"You don't like her. You're not lesbian!
Think about a cute guy. Uhm.. Big Mac? Yea! Big Mac!
Ehhh.. not really my type. Zephyr? No, why in Equestria did I say Zephyr?!"
RD shifted her weight uncomfortably. She finally spread her arms and legs wide.
"What would Mom and Dad say if I told them that I was lesbian? Oh, they'd throw me out of the house!
No, Dash, they're your own parents. They would never do that!
But then again, they've been pestering me about crushes, about being in a relationship, about getting a boyfriend. Ugh.
But Applejack..." RD smiled at the name.
"Applejack.. she's different. She's so brave, and kind, and courageous, and hardworking, and cute-"
This time, RD gave herself a physical slap.
"Oww.."

That night, RD couldn't get a single second of sleep. The thought of the Fell-On-Applejack incident consumed her. She looked at her phone.
2:37 a.m.
Dash got up and went downstairs to the kitchen to get a sip of water. She put on her favourite blue hoodie and stepped outside. She decided to take a stroll outside, in the coolness of the night. Hopefully this would clear her mind.
The streets were empty, only a few cars drove past. The nightclubs were still going on, she could see people getting drunk and acting like gross zombies. Ew.
Walking further down the street, Dash shoved her hands into her pockets. Brr, its getting colder.
She thought about returning home when she noticed something out of the blue.
She stopped walking.
Squinting her eyes, she saw a girl under the moonlight. She was just there, all alone, sitting on a bench in the park.
Dash walked closer.
"Hey, it's AJ!" she squealed.
"Shut up, Dash! Get a hold of yourself."
Shyly and silently, RD crept up to AJ, up behind the bench she was seated.

"BOO!"
"HOLY MOTHER OF CELE-" AJ hollered.
"Shhh!! Lower down your volume, scaredy cat!" Dash teased. AJ gave her a death glare.
Sweating intensively, despite the cold weather, Dash asked "Err, so what are you doing out here?" She has to admit, she is scared of Applejack whenever she's angry. Dash hopped into the empty seat, right next to AJ.
Applejack shuffled uncomfortably and retorted, "Ah should ask ya the same thing." Dash flushed at the thought of answering her question. "Answer me first," she mumbled.

AJ hesitated.
