You finished everything you had to with the stable the next day. Once you were finished you decided to read some. The day went by slowly and you went to sleep. You were awoken when you heard someone whisper your name. You shot up and looked to the voice.
"Holy shit you scared me!" You put your hand on your beating heart. Matter looked amused.
"What do you want?" You asked annoyed.
"Can I sleep in the guest room?"
"Yea go ahead." He smiled and walked off.
"Weirdo." You muttered before laying back down. You went back to sleep quickly. You woke up the next morning and yawned. You stretched out then sat up. You stood up and looked to your door to see a creeper sitting there staring at you. You paused and your eyes widened.
"My bosssss told me to keep you in here." The creeper spoke. You relaxed some realizing it wasn't just a random creeper.
"Who's your Boss?" You questioned.
"Matter." You groaned.
"Why do I need to stay in here?"
"I can't ssssay." You rolled your eyes.
"I'm leaving." You walked towards the creeper and he scurried in front of the door.
"Move." You instructed.
"No." He looked scared but he was doing his job. What a good lil creeper.
"This is my house you better move out of my damn way." You sneered. He shook and moved to the side. You opened the door and walked towards the living room. You gasped when you walked in.
"What the hell are you doing?!" You shouted. The couches were shoved against one wall to make the middle clear. Matter set up some sort of cage looking thing in the middle and computers all along the edges.
"Making my base." He shrugged.
"In my house? I said you could stay in the guest room! Not take over my whole house!" You were pissed.
"It's not your whole house, it's just your living room." You took a deep breathe.
"I need you to leave. You are not setting up a base in my living room." You said calmly.
"No." He went back to working on the computers. You snapped.
"Listen here, you came into my house asking to sleep in the guest room. I don't appreciate you converting my living room and trying to keep me in my bedroom. How am I supposed to help you if you lock me in there?" Matter slowly turned around and looked very annoyed.
"Maybe Herobrine wasn't in charge of you, but I am so go away while I work." That was the last straw for you. No one was in charge of you. You kicked the back of his knee causing him to stumble forward. He turned around and his eyes were glowing. Oops?
"You made a big mistake y/n." He said, summoning a sword.
"No, no weapons. Just a fight, the way I like it." Matter laughed.
"We will use weapons. It's my way." He summoned a sword and tossed it your way. You grabbed it by the hilt. You both had Iron swords.
"Just know I didn't want to hurt you." Matter said before lunging at you. You jumped out of the way and blocked his blow. The sound of clinking swords was heard all around.Your sword fighting skills weren't as good and you wished they were, but they weren't horrible. He jabbed once again and you tried to move. The sword barely grazed your side causing you to wince. You swung at him and the sword hit his arm. He now had a large wound in his upper arm. He glanced at it and laughed.
"Is this the best you can do?" You were mad, but understood his question. You weren't very good.
You went for him again and he blocked it. You kicked the back of his knees causing him to topple over. He was on his knees and you ran over. You kicked his back causing him to hit the ground, stomach first. He rolled and you stepped over him. He was now stuck. You kicked his sword away and put the tip of your sword at his neck.
"Yes, this is the best I can do." You answered. He smirked. Your door opened and both your heads snapped over to the door. Jordan was standing there looking shocked.
"What's going on?" He questioned. He looked scared.
"Jordan go. I'll find you at Alex's." You instructed.
"Too late." Matter said from beneath you. He suddenly disappeared and reappeared behind Jordan. He had a sword to his neck and you were reminded of the time Null did that to you.
"Matter, let him go. He's just a kid." You reasoned.
"Yea? Well, he's a kid that's seen too much." He pressed the blade harder and you could see a little bit of blood drip from a wound as Jordan winced.
"Please. Don't hurt him." You dropped your sword and held you hands in front of you in a sort of surrender position. Matter smiled then sliced. Jordan fell limp and you cried out.You watched as Matter dropped Jordan. You fell to your knees and cried. You had just gotten your brother back and now he was dead because of you. Your face was buried in your hands. You sniffled and looked up. You watched as everything around you changed. You were kneeling in your living room, but everything was normal. You looked in front of you to see Matter standing there looking amused.
"Gotcha." You were then hit in the head, and passed out.
You woke up with a groan. You looked around and realized you were in your room. You sat up and felt dizzy. You steadied yourself and waited until the dizziness disappeared. Once you weren't dizzy you stood up and walked towards the door. You reached forward to open and saw a bracelet on your wrist. You didn't wear bracelets. You reached forward to take it off. When you tried to unlatch it, it shocked you. You pulled your hand back and looked at it bewildered. You then heard footsteps and stepped back. Your door opened and in walked Matter.
"I see you're finally awake." He spoke.
"What's going on?" You were worried.
"Oh nothing much, I rearranged your house for real after the illusion. That's about it." Your eyes widened. You quickly ran past Matter and into your living room. There was a sheet thrown over the big painting and computers lining the back wall. In the middle was a cage.
"What are you doing? What is the bracelet for? Is Jordan ok?" You turned to Matter and asked a million questions.
"Hush. I'll explain if you would just shut up." He informed. You nodded and closed your mouth.
"To begin with, your brother is fine and has no idea what's going on. I'm making your living room into my base, and that bracelet is a tracker you can't take off, that's why it shocked you." You nodded.
"Does the bracelet notify you when I try to remove it?" You questioned staring down at it.
"Yes." You sighed.
"So why did you put it on me?" He huffed.
"Well, you're going to work with me. I can't have you running off so I put a little barrier, it shocks you when you go past it." You sighed. Now I'm a prisoner in my own home.
