-Cayde-

"It's nice to have you back Guardian." Zavala says as soon as Bela steps foot in the Vanguard planning room. Bela says nothing, arms crossed, anger steadily increasing. I can feel it.

I've missed you...did you think of me?

"In the future, we'd prefer if you answer our calls and messages when they're sent, instead of waiting on an emergency to happen." Zavala says. Bela still says nothing and I sigh.

"Look, we're sorry we had to lie about the emergency. But you weren't even responding to me so we had to do something." I say. She nods curtly and turns to leave.

"Why in hell would I respond to you anyways?" she asks. I raise an eyebrow, expression serious and she shakes her head.

"We're not done talking, Guardian." Zavala says. She turns to face him.

"I don't care to hear what you've got to say." She replies, Ares transmatting into her. "I've got a Kell to hunt down." she leaves without another word, ignoring Zavala as he yells at her. I know where she's going, so I follow. She closes the door to her apartment and I knock.

"Look, I just want to be left -" she stops when she sees me and I look at her, arms crossed.
"Alone. I want to be left alone." she says, closing the door but not before I stick my foot in and push it open enough to slip inside. She sighs, this time she crosses her arms.

"Get out." she says. I shake my head and she then walks over to her bar and grabs a bottle of tequila and drinks from it.

"We need to talk." I say. She shakes her head, half laughing.

"No, you want to talk. I don't. And I also won't listen. Get out of my house." she says, jumping onto the bar and sitting down, legs crossed.

"You cheated on me and then broke up with me when I confronted you about it, Bela." I say, probably sounding angrier than I intend. She doesn't say anything, taking another drink from the bottle. When she puts the bottle down, she goes around the bar and grabs a bottle of whiskey that's mostly full.

"You wanna talk? Fine. I'm going to take a leaf out of a movie. Really old one, really good. I'll stand here and listen to you, until I finish this whiskey." she says. I sigh. I know there isn't a point, but I need her to hear me out.

"I don't have all day for this." I say. She shrugs and starts chugging it. I panick. "Ok. Look, I know that when we started going out, you had mentioned that you weren't exactly relationship material and whatnot. But I thought that us being together would make you, oh I don't know, monogamous. I just really feel that...damn...the whole bottle?" I ask when she finishes the last drop, placing the bottle on the bar and wiping the corners of her mouth. She picks up her duffle bag and heads for the door, putting her helmet on.

"I thought I meant something to you!" I say. She stops in her tracks and turns to face me. She drops the duffel bag by the door and then walks towards me, pushing me onto the couch. She takes her helmet off, straddles me and begins to kiss me, taking me by surprise.

In a second, I help her out of her armor and hold her by her waist while we kiss. One hand in her hair, the other rubbing her thigh. I can tell she's ready for me. I know the effects I have on her. She can't resist me and I can't resist her.

"Wait Bela...no I can't do this..." I say in between kisses. The last time I tried to talk to her, we ended up just having sex. Not that I mind but I know she takes advantage of it. Again, not that I mind.

She reaches down and rubs the bulge in my pants, making me groan. From there, I take control and rip off her thin leggings and her long sleeve. I take off her bra and her panties and get myself naked. She watches me as I take my clothes off for her and she grabs her breasts, teasing her nipples, biting her lip, fueling my desire for her. Her hand snakes down to her folds where she begins to touch herself, her head leaning back, lips parted as she moans.
