"Oh Raven, poor Raven. Always the victim. You're a true monster you know that right? An assassin. A Guardian murderer. You killed your second fireteam. I'm surprised the first fireteam survived." Blaze says, voice cold.

I can't move. The last thing I remember was Uldren running, Jolyon on Uldren's back, me not that far behind. Ares had brought the ship around and Uldren and Jolyon managed to get in but Blaze, or Neo, had gotten ahold of me. I threw Ares into the hatch before it closed, forcing him to leave with them, the coordinates set to the Last City and I heard Neo scream in fury when the ship left. Then the world went black.

Now I'm tied down by the same chains Blaze had been in, except I'm on a stretcher. I see several Hive around me and then set my eyes on Neo.

"I know you're still in there somewhere, Blaze. Please fight whatever this thing is doing to you...if you really cared about me and Cayde...do it." I say. He smiles and I can see a trace of the emerald green before he takes a knife and stabs my leg with it.

I stifle a yell, every part of my body screaming from the pain. It's at that moment that I notice I had several cuts on my skin and that my armor was gone, the only thing covering me were the straps over my chest, groin area, and right above the ankles.
 
I glare at him, tears stinging my eyes and he twists the knife in my leg before I can heal, breaking the leg bone. I try steadying my breathing but at the moment the pain is so intense it's almost impossible.

"You're a tough nut to crack you know that Mom? A tough nut. But don't you worry, I'll figure it out. Everyone's got a weakness and everyone's got a limit. I'll find it." he says calmly.

"You're insisting on being my son?" I ask. He looks at me, his eyes somewhat saddened.

"Well yes. The Deep told me so. Told me everything. About me, you, Dad...even about those ever elusive beings that call themselves Awoken. They know all..." he said. "Even now there's a bigger plan in motion already. I would tell you more but...well you'll be part of the plan too." he says. He grabs a knife, a different one made of black steel, the handle of what looked like Hive hide. I see a Hive Knight bring a worm and I recoil at the sight of it.
