I walked in and was blinded with a light

I walked in and was blinded with a light. I had been transported to the ballroom in the palace and I saw myself. I was leaning against the bar with a drink in my hand. A dark blue suit was on my body and I drowned the drink in seconds. I stood there watching myself from afar. Nova said this was only showing us what Lennox wanted us to see. My mirrored self was walking towards the middle of the ballroom and my eyes followed. I couldn't make out the face of the girl I had taken the hand of. She was about 5'5 and had brown hair. I couldn't believe my eyes, I'd never talked to another girl in that way. It was always Faye but I only saw her as a sister. No one ever caught my attention. Yet I could see my attention was on this girl only. I walked closer to possibly hear what the girl and I were saying. As I made my way over, I saw my Father. His back was turned and a woman was standing next to him. It wasn't my mother, this woman had brown hair. They both turn around and I gape at who it is. Especially at what was in the woman's arm. A baby girl was in the hands of Fayes's aunt Beatrice and the baby was theirs. The other version of myself approached my Father and hugged him. I looked happy, something I never though I'd see. Above them the wall had the words MATE spread across it. Before I could register it, I'd been taken back to the hallway where we'd entered from. I sat down, my back against the wall. I would have to interpret this alternate universe myself until everyone returned.

After I walked into the door, I was taken back to my old pack

After I walked into the door, I was taken back to my old pack. The pack where my biological parents were Alphas. I was on a green field with multiple people. I heard whispers from people walking by that the wedding would be starting in a few minutes. I follow the crowd of people and marvel at the scene before me. There was an array of seats and flowers placed all over. I was shocked when I looked at the alter to see myself. I sit in a nearby chair when I hear, "The queen is coming now!"

I whipped my head to see Faye. She was walking down the aisle. Her white dress clung to her body and you could see all of her pack marking all over her exposed skin. I wondered if this was how she'd look when we got married. My eyes followed her as she moved down the aisle. If it was possible, I was even more shocked to see my parents standing at the alter. My father was the officiant and my mother was helping Faye fix her dress on top of the steps at the altar. I marveled at seeing myself getting married to Faye. When my father said that I could kiss the bride he grabs two candles and lights them with his own hands. When I guess the alternate universe version of Faye and I walked back down the aisle, my mother lifted the petals off the floor using her hands as well. My parents were openly using their elemental gifts and everything was perfect. I looked at the floor when I noticed the remains petals forming a word, CLOSURE.

I walked in and saw my worst fears come true

I walked in and saw my worst fears come true. I was transported back to the institute. Lennox followed closely behind and I put my hand on his chest to stop him. I saw myself standing in front of the witches of the institute and Lennox was standing beside me. He was holding a baby boy in his arms.

"What is this?" My voice cracked. I felt as if I couldn't breathe, I was in my own hell.

I felt Lennox creep up behind me. "Our future," I shuddered, suddenly feeling cold and sick.

"Well, what could be our future if you just gave in". I walked forward watching myself give a speech but I couldn't make out what I was saying. I turned around, tears brimming my eyes, "Why would you show me this?"

He stepped forward, our faces inches apart. "We come from a long line of very powerful witch lineages, we're meant for each other," His annoyance begins to show, "Why can't you see that?"

"You tried to kill me, wanted me to give in to your disgusting ways. I'm not like that and I never will be. I will never love you". I made sure to make my disgust clear. "You're a killer." For once I saw emotion come from him that'd I'd never seen before. Sadness.

He pursed his lips into a thin line, "Well, you don't have a choice". I scoffed but my mouth shut when I felt something burn into my arm. I pulled my sleeve up to see the word, DESTINY carved into the skin of my arm. Lennox and I were pulled out before I could process the word. We ended up back in the hall and I saw Dominic and Alec conversing. I don't how much time had passed but I worried when Faye's door was still locked.

I walked and felt my hart churn at what I saw

I walked and felt my hart churn at what I saw. I was back home and in the forest that resided by the palace. I saw the child version of myself that was only five years old. This was an old memory of mine just weeks before my parents died. I'd been playing hide and seek in the forest by the palace. I was hiding while Dominic tried to find me. I stood behind one of the huge trees. I looked to my left and saw the young version of myself on top of a tree branch trying to not laugh. A small boy called out, blonde hair and blue eyes, Dominic. I expected to see my mother and father to make an appearance as that's how I remembered this memory. Sadly, it became clear to me that this wasn't a memory when I heard the young boy call out the name of the girl hiding in the tree. He called out a name that wasn't my own. I did a trouble take when the girl ran up and hugged to the alternate version of myself that appeared behind a tree. She yelled, "Mommy! Dylan outed me out, we were playing hide and seek!" The young girl had a lisp as she had two missing front teeth.

The boy called out, "No way Aunt Faye! Athena wasn't even masking her scent. She made it easy to find her!"

The other version of my self mumbles, "Oh Dominic, you've done a number on your son," she walks up to the boy, "Oh moon goddess, you inherited your father's looks and charm."

The girl Athena looks up at the other version of me, "When is daddy coming back?" My mirror self patted her child's hair, "Soon. He's only gone with your Uncle Dom to pick up Grandma and Grandpa fortunate Novas wedding. Remember ?" The young girl nods and the alternate version of myself grab each child's hand and guides them out of the forest. I put my hand over my chest, my breathing uncontrollable. I felt tears stream down my face. I had a daughter?  Dominic had a son? My parents were alive? I looked down at the dirt floor to see the word LEGACIES sprawled out. Why would Lennox want me to see that I would have a child? I couldn't even process my questions as I was transported back to the hallway.

What was Lennox up to?
