I HAD SO MANY questions. How long had everyone taken in their alternate universes? What did they see? What was Lennox's reasoning behind all of this? Once I'd been transported back to the hallway, I had to try and keep my balance. Alec ran up to me and asked if I was okay. I nodded and walked over to Dominic, Nova and Lennox. Nova rubbed her hands, "Now that everyone is here, I can finally do this".

She holds up Lennox's body by the neck up against the wall. Since she was part wolf, she was able to lift him with no problem.

"What was your reason behind this? Everyone saw something different, why?"

He struggles to talk, "I showed everyone what their lives would look like if I inherited Alec's powers. I'd bring back everyone they missed from the dead".

Nova shook her head, "No, there's no way you'd be that selfless, you're selfish. Who are you trying to raise from the dead?" He stayed silent and when he refused to talk, she tightened her grip on his neck. Dominic stepped up, "Hey, calm down! If you kill him, we won't get the answers we need. She contemplates before dropping him on the floor. He rubs his neck, "You were never this hostel when we were kids".

She ignores his comment, "Explain yourself or I'll do worse".

I spoke up, "Shouldn't we all say what we saw?" We all know we saw something different, but the details needed to be discussed. Everyone agrees and when we finish, it's interesting to hear what each person saw. Dominic had a mate and a baby sister, something he never thought was possible. Alec's parents would be brought back to life and be there to see us get married. Nova said she saw herself with a child but I knew she was holding back. It was my turn to speak. "I saw my daughter and Dom's son playing hide and seek. My parents were also alive. I was distracting them while Alec and Dom had left to pick up my parents for Novas wedding. I was distracting the kids the same way my aunt used to do to Dom and I".

I stayed silent after that, Nova could figure out Lennox's motives now that she knew what everyone had seen. Lennox sighs clearly annoyed he has no upper hand. "I want to bring back the original Abner witch that was a part of the coven's beginning. I've heard stories of how powerful he was. He was able to gain enough black magic to kill the other remaining members, I want to do what he did ''.

Nova can barely contain her anger, her eyes glowing yellow. "IAre you kidding me? I won't let you do that. No way in hell".

Alec walks up to Lennox pushing him by the collar against the wall, "Fix this. Take us back, Now".

Lennox rolls his eyes, "Your wish is my command." He flicks his hand and everything goes black once again.

We wake back up in the cemetery. Back to where we were before Lennox put us in that hellhole. Dead bodies are littered all around the cemetery. We stand up and It's clear Lennox is no longer linked to Nova. He chants something, surely to hurt Nova. She's quick and counters it.

Alec takes this as an opportunity to approach Lennox. He pulls up a ball of fire, pointing it at Lennox.

"Is there a truth behind what you said? Can you really bring mine and Faye's parents?"

Lennox nods, "Of course, all I need to do is transfer your gifts to me. It's a simple spell".

"Alec? You're not seriously considering this, right?" I yelp out. He'd be insane to let Lennox have this power.

I see Alec look back and forth between me and Lennox. There's a flicker in his eyes. Something dark and foul. I've never seen him act like this. This wasn't the Alec I'd grown to love. He comes up to me, laying his hands on my shoulders.

"We can bring back our parents, don't you want that?" His tone is demeaning. My brows furrow, something isn't right. It doesn't take long for me to realize this wasn't Alec. The Alec in front of me vanishes. I scream, fuming at Lennox's trick.

"What have you done with Alec? Where is he?" He smiles smugly, "You got to admit, I had you fooled for a while." I can feel myself losing control, my anger overpowering the human in me, allowing the wolf to peek through. My eyes are yellow and my fangs have elongated. "Don't worry about him, he's tucked away somewhere safe and sound. As for now, you will let me take his gifts".

"No". Nova's voice is loud and clear. She wipes a tear that had fallen.

"You don't need Alec's gift, not if you have me". Lennox is smug, his face showing his excitement. He'd exchange Alec for Nova.

I object, "No!" She walks up to Dominic and me. She shares a glum look between us. "He won't rest until he raises his ancestor. Taking Alec's powers isn't worth it. If he has me beside him, with my power and his combined, it'll be more than enough to raise his ancestor. That's all he really wants."

I shake my head, tears falling. "You... You can't do this! That means you'd have to give in and do dark magic." I'm sobbing at this point and Dominic is sniffling. His voice cracks, "Nova, you don't have to do this. We'll find another way". She shakes her head. She moves a piece of her hair away from his face that has fallen down, "It's the only way. I wasn't honest with you guys. I didn't just see a baby. I saw myself ruling beside him. It's my destiny" She's barely able to get a word out when she brings me in for a hug. She whispers in my ear, "Find a way to bring me back". She walks away from us and takes Lennox's hand. Her once light demeanor is gone. In its place is soulless eyes and the same dark veins as Lennox.

Lennox gladly takes her offer. "Alec is located in the blocked off tomb by the entrance of the cemetery. He's not harmed at all".

They disappear once he finishes talking. Dominic and I begin to run towards the front of the cemetery. I would find Alec and I would find a way to bring Nova back, If it was the last thing I would do.
