Cameron
She waited a while to answer me but she glanced up at me after I held my eyes on her longer. I knew she felt my stare.
She opened the bag and started putting stuff in it that she had laying around my room which wasn't much because she's neat. If she was a messy chick, I wouldn't be able to stand her living with me.
"I'm getting all of my stuff; I'm leaving." She swung her hair to one side and struggled to close her suit case.
I nodded. "You need help?"
She kissed her teeth. "Cam, cut it out."
I raised an eyebrow. "Wait? It's Monday."
"I know. I just got the call and they shipped my mattress early. I can finally get out of your life."
"What?"
She chuckled. "I won't talk to you, bother you, ask you for a cup of sugar when I wake up one random day and decide to bake a cake, shit I won't even look at you. But don't sit here and act like you're trying to help me when you're really trying to rush me out."
I looked at her like she was crazy. "Why are you so mad all of the sudden? You was cool a few minutes ago. You was cool at the doctors."
She chuckled darkly. "Right, after you hurt my feelings in the car, and then in the doctors office? You think I'm disrespectful? I would never show my ass in front of your doctor or your parents!" She shouted lowly.
"Kyra, I ain't mean to hurt yo feelings. Why you whining about it?"
She bit her lip and shook her head as she closed her bag. "Oh my god Cam, just stop talking to me."
I tried to stand up but she held her hand out to stop me. "Stop trying to walk without your crutches." She spat. "If you fall on this damn floor I'm not picking you up."
"Kyra..."
She grabbed her phone charger off the table and headed for the door. "Bye Cameron."
She gave me that same fake smile and waved before walking out. I groaned and fell back against my bed.
Fuck just happened?
Kyra
The door bell rang and I jogged to answer it. "Hey," She leaned in and kissed my cheek.. I moved over to let her walk in and she scanned over my living room.
"Holy shit." She said looking around the room. I nodded and let a sigh escape my lips.
"It's game day. By the end of tomorrow I want my house to be finished and your going to help meeee." I sang.
"Kyra." She whined.
"Kaylen." I countered.
"Fine, but alone? Girl, I'm not much bigger than you!"
The doorbell sounded again and she raised an eyebrow as I jogged to get it. I had asked Devin and Tj to come help.
"Hey beautiful." Devin leaned down and pulled me into a hug. His skinny ass was so cute to me. He had these green/brown eyes and I always had a thing for every other color eyes but mine.
"Hey.." I moved over to let him walk, Tj right behind. I greeted him and closed the door. They noticed Kaylen and Tj smirked like the little flirt he is.
Kaylen was a flirt too. A sarcastic one. She could make you think she was into you when she really wasn't. It usually got her free drinks when she goes out.
