11. Awkward

Whatever happened in zoya's life... I wish no one should face these situations. Aunty left to the kitchen saying she's going to make dinner for all and she asked abbu and rahul to stay here. Ammi called and said shes already ready to go somewhere and she'd come here after the dinner.

Zoya came down and she was shi led to find abbu."basheer uncle?" She asked and she came ti abbu and hugged him. "Don't cry Beti. You know we all are here for you " abbu said while she sobbed. She than pulled back and asked,"how's your health now uncle? That's why you couldn't come home last few years too." She said.

"I'm fine but still no travelling" he said and made a sad face that made zoya chuckle and say,"do as the doctor says" and gave a teacher like firm look.

"Ok ma'am" about said and both laughed. "Wait... where's aunty and yeah you said Heer is also back after studies. But see, I couldn't meet him yet. It's been years." Whe abbu was about to reply, she cut him off,"wait... how come you know we're here?"

Is this really zoya. She's really..... different? Yeah she behaves totally different. "How about you come and stay with us, zoya?" Abbu asked and I gasped and I thought no one noticed but rahul fake coughed.

"Well, uncle... how can we..." abbu cut her off,"no buts and hows. You are coming and one more thing, that herr of yours is here. See." abbu said and zoya looked at me. She had a happy expression changing to nervous and then a little later she acted awkward around me. Just then I remembered ered what abbu said. I won't let my girl go far from me. Again.

"Sahir... they are coming with me tomorrow. You can stay here." When I was about to say no,"that's final" dad said and walked towards the television and turned it on. This is actually something dad does to stop further discussion about something he thinks its already finalised.

Now, I was alone here. Where is zoya? I walked up the stairs and saw aunty, zara and Noor working in the kitchen while dad was watching news. I walked pass zoya's room and while crossing i heard her talking to someone. Eventhough evesdropong is not good, my stupid eager brain directed me to her room.

I heard something like,"no... it's just a slight crush yaar.moreover he's not always in vicinity. He really us a caring person. I agree. But... no. You know what happened to....." what happened? Did she see me? I hope no. I turned towards the door side and she said kn the phone,"hello.... you hear me? Hello
..alisha..." she threw the phone on the bed and she walked toward the study table.

Why cant I take my eyes away from her? Obviously, I loved her but do I still? I heard a throat clearing and jumped back just to hit on someone. I turned my head and saw one person who I dont want to know what's happening. Shit. I cursed in my mind. What? If I curse out loud, my abbu will be giving me a nice piece of mind along with a slap.

"Sh..." he signalled and walked to my room holding me by my shoulder. I was hell nervous. But was ready to face reality and take my princess. Urghhh sahir. Just stop thinking like a love sick teen boy.

"Ok... so what was that?" Abbu asked and looked everywhere but him. "What?" I asked and took a file in ny hand and turned pages occasionally. I can't say that to him. Can I?

"Sahir you..." I cut him off saying,"I'll say when the right time comes. Please?" He then nodded and said,"by the way sahir, I dont appreciate eavesdropping and peeking into others room. Specially my daughter's. Got it?" I nodded and abbu left after saying he'll pick them up tomorrow morning.

Why God? Why me? No.... it doesn't happen in every man's life that his love stays in his house not knowing he loves her but he has a good feel to ha e her in sight all day. Anyway, I can see her at office.
