Chapter 11: The Visit

Kaito POV

"Bye Kaito," said Shinso as he started to walk out the door. I looked at Mina and then at Shinso as he left and a face of realization came over me. Shinso left and I looked at Mina who was still on my chest. "Wait what time is it?" I looked at the clock and it read: "8:00 pm." I paled at the sight. "This was his plan from the beginning wasn't it!" I felt the weight shift on my chest.

I shakingly looked down and was inches away from Mina's face. We both blushed and Mina got off me and was at the other end of the couch. "U-u-u-um I'm sorry Kai! I wasn't thinking and just fell asleep. No other intentions were at play." I sighed. "Don't apologize. You didn't do anything wrong. Besides, I could have woken you up and I didn't so it's also my fault." Mina looked at me with a bright face. "H-how long were you up?"

I looked away with a slight blush. "About an hour," I admitted. I looked back at Mina and saw her covering her face and mumbling.  "Hey, you ok Mina?" She snapped out of her mumbling and looked at me nodding her head vigorously. I swung my feet off the couch. "Mina, how far away do you live from here?" Mina seemed confused by the question. "About an hour by foot why?" 

I sighed and pointed to the clock and she realized the time. "Tell your parents that your too far from home so you'll be staying at a friend's house tonight." Mina looked like she was starting to get a fever so I put my head on hers and she started to get hotter. "Crap, you're getting a fever. You go rest I will call your parents so you can rest." I laid Mina down on the couch as she told me her parent's phone number and I went outside and called.

Soon someone picked up. "Hello? Who is this?" I heard a woman's voice on the other end of the line. "Hello miss. Is this Mina Ashido's mother by chance." A few seconds passed. "Yes, it is. May I ask who is calling?" "Sorry about that I just wanted to make sure who it was. My name is Kaito Izumura. Mina is a classmate and friend of mine, and it seems that she is too far away from home to get there before it gets really dark, and I wouldn't feel comfortable having her out this late, so I was wondering if it would be ok for her to spend the night at my house and I can bring her back home tomorrow." It took a minute but I got my response.

"Thank you for worrying about my daughter and I'm sure that she will be in great care for the night. If you wouldn't mind bringing her home that would be great plus I would like to meet you Izumura." I nodded to myself. "That would be no problem at all. I am looking forward to meeting you." We both said our goodbyes and I walked into the cabin.

"Ok good news. I talked to your mom and she said that you can stay. Also, she wants to meet me tomorrow." I saw Mina sitting on the couch with a bright face. "Mina is something wrong?" Mina turned her head towards me. "Well, the thing is, I don't know where I'm going to sleep or wear since I wasn't planning on staying the night." I nodded and went to a dresser by the armchair and pulled out some black shorts and a red T.

"It isn't much but it's better than wearing jeans to bed." I then blushed a bit. "When it comes to where you're going to sleep. I only have a pull-out couch so you can take that, I can sleep on the floor. The bathroom is through the door over there so you can change." I pointed to the door by the kitchen and then looked at Mina who had a pout on her face. "Oh no, you don't! You are not sleeping on the floor because of me. I don't mind sleeping in the same bed as someone so you are going to sleep in the bed with me willingly or I'm going to force you." I now had a slight blush on my face. "Fine, now go change in the bathroom, got it."

Mina nodded and I gave her the clothes and she left. I started to dig through my dresser for my pajamas. "Oh no, you don't." The shirt I had on was taken off by my threads suddenly and I was left in red pajama pants. "What the hell did you do that for?" I heard Obito sigh. "Got it, your body is having the reactions but you can't comprehend whats going on." I had a questioning look on my face. "Well don't worry because I'm going to help you become less dense." Just then a door opened from the back.
